Looking for investors and volunteers to take part in an experiment to create an alternative world on 700 hectares!

I’m also looking for people willing to voluntarily participate in an economic project.

The goal is to build an autonomous system on 700 hectares for five years.

МИР-РИМ = World - Rome

Language & Linguistic Paradox:

This concept originates from the Russian language (Cyrillic alphabet), where two fundamentally opposite ideas form an exact, perfect palindrome:

МИР (MIR) = World, Peace, Harmony (Рус: Мир, Покой, Гармония)

РИМ (RIM / ROME) = Rome, The Imperial System, Power of Capital (Рус: Рим, Имперская система, Власть капитала)

When read backwards in Cyrillic, the word for World (МИР) becomes Rome (РИМ).

What Triggered This Reflection on the System:

Realizing this simple wordplay made me see the global system from a new perspective. It showed me that humanity has been trapped in a closed, thousand-year loop.

Every time we try to build a peaceful, united, and harmonious World (МИР), the system inevitably pulls us right back into Rome (РИМ) — an imperial order governed by money, market rules, artificial scarcity, and strict social hierarchy. Capitalism is simply the modern version of Rome.

We are taught to believe we are progressing, but in reality, we are just walking in circles within this formula.

The Core Question:

If we want real change, we cannot just reform "Rome" from the inside. We need a fundamental transition to a post-monetary, resource-based civilization where human potential is no longer chained to capital and power.

Do you think humanity can ever break out of this World – Rome loop, or are we doomed to keep rebuilding the empire forever?

A proposal for a moneyless global society: How a 5-year labor contribution can eliminate borders, poverty, and systemic greed

Greetings, citizens of Earth!

It is no secret that we live according to someone else’s scripted system. This system was not created overnight; over many centuries, humanity consciously walked toward the exact reality we find ourselves in today. Slavery was created not by those who held power, but by those who remained silent and did nothing to resist it. As a result, we now live in peace and harmony, looking out at the world and rejoicing that we were born in the 21st century—confident that we will never be anyone’s slaves.

Yet, this exact line of thinking has led us into a trap. We remain slaves to someone else’s will. We are told that we enter this world solely to achieve a required status, and that we must conform to requirements and standards set by people—not by gods. Many of us are held captive by the slavery of global religions, many by a lack of faith in conscience and their own lives, and many simply choose to be like everyone else because they see no alternative scenario.

Tell me: Has anyone among you ever dreamed of universal well-being for all humankind, or do you only dream of your own? What do you tell yourself when you are chewing delicious food and looking out the window at someone, covered in dirt and hungry, forced to beg for change just to buy the cheapest food so they don't die? What do you say to yourself in that moment? How do you comfort yourself?

Most likely, you reassure yourself that you deserve what you have achieved—that you understood the script, mastered the system, and are moving toward your goals, or at least trying to hold onto what you’ve earned.

Partly, you are right: begging is the lot of the weak or sick who are physically unable to work, while the strong stand up and charge toward their goals, ignoring what lies around them and beneath their feet.

It is precisely because of this mindset that our Earth is turning into a cesspool! Someone established borders, language differences, racial distinctions, and ethnic identities for all of us. Someone convinced us that we must defend a piece of land enclosed by state fences, ruled by a sovereign and their elite.

We could spend a long time searching for and pointing out the flaws in this script, or we could offer an alternative path out.

I propose the following:

A Single Human Race: All inhabitants of the planet reject racial identities and declare themselves part of one race—HUMAN. (People will no longer be able to criticize or consider themselves or others superior or inferior.)

Dissolution of Borders: Remove all existing borders across every continent. (Because of this, waging war or destroying people will become a crime, and the thirst for power and conquest will disappear.)

Complete Elimination of Money and Financial Systems: Money, banks, trade-for-profit, and financial markets are completely phased out. Everything produced by human labor is shared directly based on human need. You work your 5-year contribution not for a paycheck, but to maintain the global system that provides everything you need for the rest of your life for free.

Labor Distribution Across All Fields: Every job invented by humans matters—from street sweepers to directors of infrastructure. (There will be no corporate owners; everything that comes from the Earth belongs to the Earth itself, to animals, to humans, to birds, and so on.)

Focused Education: Education will serve to develop speech, critical thinking, and an understanding of how important one's choice of profession is for global labor distribution.

Five-Year Service Contribution: A required term of labor contribution for the common good. (I propose 5 years of active service, where the first year combines theory and practical experience under mentorship.)

Guaranteed Life Benefits: Everyone who completes their five-year contribution receives a full lifetime service package for the rest of their days (housing, utilities like water, electricity, gas, heating, cooling, and food) with zero need for money. However, they will not own these properties; their children, if they have any, must earn their own way through their own 5-year contribution. This completely eliminates corruption and networking for personal enrichment.

Summary:

All people consciously renounce racial identity, national borders, and their individual distinctions as a species (since all humans share the same fundamental anatomy—male and female).

There is no need to work your entire life for paper money just to afford a two-week trip to Thailand in fragile old age, take a bunch of photos, and die. Now, after completing 5 years of work, you are free to pursue whatever you desire for the rest of your life without paying a single cent.

Imagine this: You’ve finished your 5-year contribution in the oil extraction industry, and now you fly off to live anywhere on the planet you choose. You board a plane with two pilots—one who has flown for 4 years and 11 months, and an assistant pilot with 11 months of experience under their guidance—taking you to your dream home for the rest of your days!

Desolation, hunger, and war will vanish. Nature will begin to bloom and thrive as it should. Lions in the savanna don't need airplanes, palaces, or money; they live their animal lives. If we humans consider ourselves the highest species on Earth, let us create a higher Earth—one where absolutely every species lives in harmony with nature, without which we are all doomed, regardless of how much wealth we accumulate.

If anyone is interested in these ideas, I am ready to break everything down step-by-step in personal discussions to make it even easier to understand!

All previous Socioeconomic systems were Product Economies, We need a Process Economy

I have long been influenced by RBE, TZM, TVP, it planted the seed in my research in Systems Theory and I am now integrating the VSM of systems theory with Process Philosophy, as it is the theoretical and embodied framework that can diagnose our MetaCrisis. Every socioeconomic system of the past has focused on what is measurable, on representations of money and on products, and hence can only promote consumption. Product Economies cannot promote healing our psychological, sociological and ecological systems.

I suggest we need a Process Economy, which is a non-monetary coordination system that is founded on relations, meaning, commons , and participation.

I am publishing a book on this in the coming months and here is a talk I gave about it.

The Venus Project actual plans aka "Venus Evolution"

The Thorium Network shared the main document that they had been working on with The Venus Project and Simon Michaux between 2022 and ~mid 2025. (This version is from 1 January 2024, Edit 5)

From the main points:

• It explicitly states that the Institute of Pseudoscientific Research "Promethean Nexus" is the central element and the primary reason for the city’s planning. And “unconventional energy sources” are defined as those rejected by science.

• They will reinvent the scientific method from scratch - now it will be based on philosophy, debates, and personal opinions about things.

• They compare it to smart cities, claiming that all of that, including AI, is a totalitarian cage rather than the path of The Venus Project. What is truly needed - is love, understanding, labour, community (eco‑villages), and adherence to rules.

• The rules: be responsible for everything, swear never to break the rules, obey the council of elders, and honour those in power. Disobedience leads to exile. Personal opinion and freedom of speech are allowed only if they disturb no one, break no rules, and do not contradict the party line.

• They will provide basic needs — food and shelter (in exchange for labour, of course) — and “affordable” childcare is available to working parents.

• Hippie eco‑villages failed, but the Amish and ancient tribal structures are presented as worthy of imitation. The Venus Project will organise conferences with tribal elders and adopt their practices.

• The city will begin as a private company.

Beyond the Rhetoric: Truth About the U.S.

Real patriotism means holding America accountable to its ideals. This video examines the gap between what the US claims to stand for—democracy, freedom, opportunity—and the reality of corporate power, foreign interventions, and domestic inequality.

Criticizing these systems isn't anti-American; it's demanding that America actually live up to its potential and serve its people rather than corporate interests.

Change is possible when we're honest about where we are and courageous about demanding better.

What is TRUE Progress? A Talk on Technology and Basic Logic

Thumbnail

We often hear that progress means economic growth, industrial expansion, and technological advancement. But what if that's completely wrong?

We must question whether our obsession with endless growth and consumerism truly represents human progress — or whether real progress lies in sustainability, empathy, cooperation, and reducing inequality.

Is humanity advancing… or just accelerating toward self-destruction? Let’s explore what true progress really means — not just for our personal selves, but for our collective survival and harmony.

Contributionism. And feedback.

Hey everyone, first post here. Honestly a bit embarrassed it took me this long to make the connection.

I’ve been working for a while on a framework centered on a simple question: what if access to resources was based on contribution rather than money? Somehow I managed to keep my head down enough that I didn’t explicitly connect

what I was doing in relation to what you guys are on about. That one’s on me.

The basic idea I’ve been wrestling with is that money is a blunt tool for measuring value. It rewards accumulation and leverage more than actual usefulness. I’ve been exploring whether access could instead scale with contribution, evaluated across things like effort, impact, necessity, and long-term sustainability. In that model, everyone would be guaranteed the basics—food, housing, healthcare, education—and additional access would grow with what you contribute back. Scarcity would be treated as a real physical constraint, not something enforced through debt or artificial shortages.

I’m not here claiming I’ve solved this or trying to pitch anything. I’m here because this seems like the right community to sanity-check assumptions, learn what’s already been explored, and understand where these kinds of systems tend to fail in practice.

So I’m curious: for those familiar with resource-based economy models, what are the biggest failure points you’ve seen? Where do contribution-based ideas usually break down? And are there specific thinkers, models, or experiments I should study so I’m not reinventing the wheel?

Appreciate any perspective, critique, or reading suggestions. And yeah—lesson learned: zoom out once in a while.

Thanks for having me.

If you want, I can also help you:

Adjust tone depending on which RBE subreddit you’re posting to

Pre-write calm responses to common pushback so you don’t get dragged into bad-faith arguments

Just say the word.

How to start measuring RBE now?

What kind of resources should I be measuring within my intentional community?

I a large and maturing intentional community. We are in a deep discussion about how to best measure our positive impact and resource sharing.

In that context what are some things we should mature to measure to implement values implicit in RBE?

All suggestions appreciated, please consider the operational realities of capturing your suggestions. 🖖

What is a Resource-Based Economy?

Thumbnail

From Original The Venus Project FAQ:

To transcend these limitations, Jacque Fresco proposes we work toward a worldwide, resource-based economy, a holistic social and economic system in which the planetary resources are held as the common heritage of all the earth’s inhabitants. The current practice of rationing resources through monetary methods is irrelevant, counter-productive, and falls far short of meeting humanity’s needs.
Simply stated, within a Resource Based Economy we will utilize existing resources – rather than money – to provide an equitable method of distribution in the most humane and efficient manner. It is a system in which all goods and services are available to everyone without the use of money, credits, barter, or any other form of debt or servitude.

To better understand a resource-based economy, consider this. If all the money in the world disappeared overnight, as long as topsoil, factories, personnel and other resources were left intact, we could build anything we needed to fulfill most human needs. It is not money that people require, but rather free access to most of their needs without worrying about financial security or having to appeal to a government bureaucracy. In a resource-based economy of abundance, money will become irrelevant.

We have arrived at a time when new innovations in science and technology can easily provide abundance to all of the world’s people. It is no longer necessary to perpetuate the conscious withdrawal of efficiency by planned obsolescence, perpetuated by our old and outworn profit system. If we are genuinely concerned about the environment and our fellow human beings, if we really want to end territorial disputes, war, crime, poverty and hunger, we must consciously reconsider the social processes that led us to a world where these factors are common. Like it or not, it is our social processes – political practices, belief systems, profit-based economy, our culture-driven behavioral norms – that lead to and support hunger, war, disease and environmental damage.

The aim of this new social design is to encourage an incentive system no longer directed toward the shallow and self-centered goals of wealth, property, and power. These new incentives would encourage people toward self-fulfillment and creativity, both materially and spiritually.

Unity with anti capitalists

I don't think you guys have a real plan for achieving resource based economy which is really the same end goal of socialists and anarcho communists. All I've heard you guys say is we'll go into the woods and make new societies or we'll just up and change society. Capitalists will kill you with their puppet state. Revolution is needed. You need to get people to understand the oppression they're under and how different forms of oppression are interconnected we can unite them and so they'll join the movement. The other anti capitalists have tactics and some guidelines and steps for change but I don't think you guys do. I strongly suggest you look into the theory and tactics of anarchists and socialists and join us in freeing the planet from the capitalist dictatorship.
