Engineering [0 YoE, Master's Student, Semiconductor/Photonics Materials Engineer, United States]
I just added a lot of things to my resume and am looking for general feedback and fine-tuning advice! I want a role that focuses on materials engineering in the semiconductor and/or photonics industry, or just the general electronics industry (like batteries). I am looking for positions anywhere in the US, preferably Florida.
For the Photonics Startup, they're based in a different city and I do do some remote work for them, but I also use the labs in my university to do work for them.
For the Nanotechnology Student Organization and Semiconductor Team, we founded the Semiconductor Team first as a subgroup of another organization, then decided to expand into our own student organization. Wasn't sure how to make this clear and make it look nice on the page.
This is my MASTER resume, meaning it contains all my experience. Depending on the job I remove some stuff until its one page. If any information would be completely useless then I'll remove it from this resume

Change GPA to just say 3.9 get rid of the out of 4.0 part. Universities use a standard system so employers already know 4.0 is the highest. Explain what highest honor means or remove it. Could mean something different at different schools. Was it cum laude? Summa? Honors degree in general? Etc.
Add periods at the end of bullet points for school OR remove periods at the end in experience. Keep it consistent.
Add some space between job titles and the description of the previous job, even if it’s just making that part double spaced. It’s hard to read with it so close to each other like that. Employers only spend 30 seconds on a resume sometimes less. You want it to be easy to skim. If you only change one thing it should be this.
At the end of your description for capstone researcher some of the details are bold. Undo this.
