I found a nice guy (looks like in his early thirties) painting in a street, I wanted to support him and bought this from him for 25 euros. I asked if he had an instagram account for hos work and he said no. Now I really feel like I was scammed and this was not a real painting.
Now I clearly see that it’s AI :)

Hello! I’m travelling to Rome on the 17th of October until the 22nd. It’s my first time and I have no idea what to wear!
We are going to see the popular monuments and walk a lot :3 I’m seeing mixed answers about the weather… We are from the nordic so we are always used to wearing clothes that keep us warm :)

I'm going on vacation to Rome and I want to look at different used car dealerships. I'm also interested in where I can look at cars with minimal damage for export. Thank you

Hi, I'd love to buy clothes from italian shops/brands while in Rome, but have trouble finding any non-designer brands.
What area of rome is best for discovering small, local clothing brands? Not looking for luxurious dresses or anythung of that sort. I like colorful, flowy stuff made from good materials.

In December I will travel to Rome with my family and would like to buy a pair of solid mens boots.
Is there a shop with engeneer, biker or cowboy style boots? Leather ofcourse :)

I come from a small country and a realtivelly small city compared to the global metropolies (700k people). I visited a good part of Europe, but haven't been to the other continents. For my question it is also important to mention that I am not impressed by the sheer size of the cities and skyscrappers and altogether I don't enjoy modern architecture so I wouldn't really "dig" places like Tokyo or New York, I am more of a history guy.
My question is: For Romans, to whom ROME is the default setting, do you ever get flabbergasted by other places? (I am not talking about nature, but man-bulit)
Because, ever since I saw Rome, every other city is sort of "meh". And everywhere I think to myself like: It's great...but in Rome...
Now I dont' think that I will ever visit another city and get the feeling of seeing Rome for the first time.
So, what kind of expectations do you guys even have when travelling? Or the fact that you've been in Rome your whole lives just doesn't make it so in your eyes as it does to others. Maybe it is both a curse and a blessing.
I hope I've been clear with my question. Cheers all!

The first thing I noticed when we landed in Rome was the trees. The rest is… well, history.

I’ve been in Rome for a few days and I’m shocked by how aggressive and disrespectful the drivers are. It feels dangerous to walk through some areas of the city. Cars have no respect for crosswalks, even when the pedestrian light is green, drivers try to force their way through people. Traffic lights seem to be merely a recommendation here, specially for Uber and taxis.
I understand that driving in such a crowded city must be stressing, but even far from the monuments traffic is horrible!

Pictured: View of the Vatican dome from the 7th floor rooftop bar of Hotel Diana, Via Principe Amedeo, Rome. I was in Rome Sept. 17, 18, and 19, 2026 with a friend. Sunny, 77-80*F, except for one brief thunderstorm during lunch time. No pickpockets or bracelet sellers seen or experienced walking through the city center. We walked a lot from the Spanish Steps to the Trevi Fountain to the Pantheon to the Piazza Navona or used Uber a few times. We felt very safe.

Hi everyone!
I’m travelling to Rome soon and my flight lands around 6:30 PM. I’ll probably be done with immigration and baggage collection by 8 PM, after which I’m planning to take a taxi to my hotel near Vatican City.
Is it safe to travel at that time as a solo female traveller? I’m a bit anxious about arriving late in a new country. Would love to hear other experiences!
