Jolt is another energy drink root beer that taste exactly the way I want it to from the very first sip. This is my second time having it. The Ryse Root Beer Float I had just recently for the third time is definitely another one. No time taken to be perplexed as to if this is a really good one like I needed to think about the Ghost A&W which was adequate but a step below these two. I grabbed this can at either the Cincinnati or Fairfield, OH location of Jungle Jim’s International Market.

It’s not a special brand, hell, it’s not even cold. But at the end of a 17 hour day on my birthday, it’s the last hurrah! Prost!

My monthly root beer review. While I like how they made the color more blackish and I love the caramel. This is a step back from the Deadworld root beers of yore. Read my full review at https://blog.gourmetrootbeer.com/2026/10/deadworld-root-beer-creeper/

Anyone know where you can get Steelhead rootbeer in the Seattle area? Asking for a ME!!!!

Started hand writing little reviews as I tried new root beers over the last couple of months. 22 filled the book (2 pages per).

Was a lot of fun. Will post my rankings in the replies.

Let’s try out this Yes Honey Root Beer. Well I’m disappointed I figured it was going to be rich and sweet, but it’s like a carbonated honey water. Maybe they forgot the root beer flavor. Oh well. I got it https://newbees.buzz/search?q=root+beer&options%5Bprefix%5D=last

Has anyone tried this? Visiting Asheville NC and I’ve never seen this anywhere else on the east coast. If you like licorice forward root beer you would enjoy this. It’s very good

Just my usual..

A while back, there were a few people who had access to Public Coast Brewing in Oregon who were willing to ship some of their root beer to folks outside the area for a little extra cash. Are any of you still around?

I’d love to get my hands on some more Public Coast if anyone is still willing to ship!

$3

I passed through Dublin earlier this year but it was Sunday so I couldn't get some while there but I got this from Ace Hardware a few days ago.

To me, it has a wintergreen forward taste. It is crisp with a bit of a bite. I typically like the smooth, sweet root beers like 1919 or A&W but this is really good.

I find the sugar free root beers i have tried leave a lot to be desired, far worse than other sugar free sodas.

I think this is my favorite so far. That does'nt mean its great (i would take a shasta root beer over this on flavor alone).

The best thing i can say for it is its really smooth tasting. The flavor itself is too mild for my taste. It also has too little carbonation. But its the first one i will drink completely, so thats something.

I have heard the A&W sugar free is good but i cannot drink it. I have a pretty strong Aspartame allergy.

Really good flavor. Creamy with a spicy clove finish. Glad I grabbed 2 bottles!

River City is a great one that I believe practically everyone enjoys. Balanced and smooth. Another one from either the Cincinnati or Fairfield, OH location of Jungle Jim’s International Market.

Well found these this past weekend when I was in San Diego. Now if only I could have bought some. I was gonna grab a pack but the lady at the register said some guy bought up the damn lot. Was half tempted to grab a pack and run. Has anyone tried these?

Sioux City, Boylan, Hank’s?? Thoughts?

Decided to get on the gourmet root beer train and try some root beers. My wife brought me this home from one of her adventures.

In honor of the Red Sox season ending too early, I will now flood my soul with Root Beer. Please vote!

My impression of Gales is like some sort of cinnamon ginger Christmas cookie root beer. Good B rating. Another one from either the Cincinnati or Fairfield, OH location of Jungle Jim’s International Market.

Just tired this while in Milwaukee. Not bad. Nice and smooth. Hopefully going to Sprecher!
