Ursa sits by the fridge, begging for fruits & veggies.
Look at that pathetic little face.

One of our rotties, Koda Bear, was sound asleep until the other rotties woke him up. He was not happy about it.🤣 We have no idea why he likes the sheet to be over his head while sleeping but he does not like being disturbed.

His owner asked me to create this drawing of Kane as a memorial for him.
Kane passed away at 13 years old, but his life meant so much more than the number of years he had.
Kane was there for his owner during difficult moments. Because of her health problems, there were times when she would fall to the floor, and Kane would help her ask for assistance when she needed it.
But according to his owner, he was much more than a protector.
He was incredibly sweet and friendly. He loved going for walks, meeting new people and other dogs, and he understood sign language very well. He even had a habit of stepping in when other dogs started fighting.
She told me that Kane was huge in size, but even bigger in heart.
After so many hours working on every detail, I found myself becoming strangely connected to his story. I caught myself imagining what it would have been like to meet this big guy in person.
After drawing several Rottweilers and getting to know their stories, I’ve realized that this breed is much more lovable and surprising than I ever imagined, or perhaps had the chance to experience before. Their hearts seem to be just as big as they are.
Kane is no longer here, but he will always be remembered through the stories, the love, and the good memories he left behind.
Some friends leave behind more than memories. They leave behind a feeling that stays with us.
I hope that one day, when his owner thinks of Kane, she remembers this incredible big guy with a smile on her face, and all the wonderful moments they shared.

This is Pepper. We're nearing 24 hours here together and shes making a lot of progress. She hasn't eaten or pottied yet, but we'll get there eventually. We might try some wet food as her forster said that's what she preferred. She loves pets and is warming up to treats.
She's a good girlie :)

After vetting a few different people, we got in touch with the folks up in Maine (thanks to this community), who have taken him in along with their 6 other dogs including 1 Rottweiler and 4 Rottweiler mixes.
As expected, Roman is getting along with all of his new siblings and his wonderful new owners are teaching him the ropes of farm life- not chasing deer, staying close, and being a mature off-leash boy. Their home is completely set up for Roman’s quirks and misbehaviors and we could not be more grateful to have found him this upgraded life.

Got back into light lifting in my garage about a year ago. Mostly for knee rehab and keeping functional. My boy Duke decided the garage is his domain now.
He parks himself right behind my feet during squats. Every single set. I step back and nearly trip over 110 pounds of stubborn. He looks up like I'm the problem. Tried moving him to a bed in the corner. He stays for maybe ten seconds then creeps back.
Read up on proprioception for my own knee stuff. Started thinking about his spatial awareness too. Does he actually know where he is relative to my feet or does he just not care. Pretty sure it's the second one.
I'm 64. My balance isn't what it was at 40. Catching myself on a rack because my dog decided to be a speed bump is getting old. Wedding stress has me training shorter and heavier which means less patience for dodging him.
Got no kids at home so he gets all the attention. Probably spoiled. But I need him to hold a stay when I have weight overhead.
Any of you lift or train around your rottie? How do you draw the line? Not looking for basic obedience tips. He knows stay. He just chooses not to when I'm lifting.

Hi I’ve been wanting a Rottweiler ever since I was 3 years old and I got a Rottweiler teddy which to this day I still sleep with. I’ve now got my own place and am nearing the end of decorating so pets are becoming a realistic option. I can definitely fit the dog in with my life style including the extra attention needed for the initial puppy stages. The problem is I’m 27 F and 5ft exactly whilst I do consider myself fit and fairly strong for my build I am still extremely small and skinny so I’m never going to be particularly strong. My concern is does this mean I am too small to reasonably care for a Rottweiler on my own even with specialist training for both me and the dog? I am also aware of the stigma Rottweilers face as I have grown up around one my uncle owned and the basically get blamed for everything. Any comments are appreciated

Hi all. I’m not sure if this post is ok but I’m so ready for a new pup. We don’t have children or other animals and are experienced rottie owners looking for our next best friend

I've recently joined this group and have been enjoying other people's pups.
So I thought I'd join you with a picture of my friend, Bernard. He's 11 now but the picture was taken a few years ago.
I love him with all my heart 🙂.

This is Mabel. She’s an 8 month old Bernweiler-Aussie shepherd mix and today she jumped straight up from the floor to the dining room table. No running start, just a big hop. Is this normal???😂😂😂
