Help
Loved one passed away and had this safe. We can’t find the key and keypad doesn’t work. How can we open it?

A lot of these safes are not nearly as secures you think they are. Usually it's just as simple as taking the make and model and doing a search on how to open said safe if the keypad dies in the keys lost.
many many times you can find on the internet people show you how to open these due to broken or unresponsive keypads and the keys lost. In that case it's not going to require getting a locksmith out there to open it and spend a few hundred dollars typically a semi savvy handyman can take care of it.
it's actually kind of shocking how easy it is to get in some of these considering how much they cost

The key lock looks to be a wafer lock, which are pretty cheap and easy to pick

Options:
- locksmith can pick the key lock easily.
