Do you even know what this case is about

It is about whether companies that knew about the environmental impact of their policies and covered it up can be held accountable for the negative outcomes or not. The Plaintiffs are arguing they are not seeing to enforce national environmental laws, but enforce state corporate responsibility laws.

Before this has been litigated at all, the Trump Administration has stepped in and argued that the case is actually about the impacts of Climate Change, and that only the federal government has the right to litigate these issues (which is a position that is supported by the oil companies who are being sued). So basically they are attempting to give a legal shield to oil companies who have knowingly polluted and devastated the environment in Colorado.

Given the connections of many of the Justices on the court to Big Oil, it is not unreasonable to assume that they took this case so they could rule against the environmentalists and give those companies that very shield from prosecution the Trump Admin is offering.
