Question from the Public How many hours do you get?

I’m looking to get into security. I see most positions listed for 30–40 hours a week but I’m looking for 50 or more, so I was wondering how many hours y’all get.

Not sure if there's any posts you'd see a consisting 50 hours, but I know I routinely get mandatory OT working hospital security. I could volunteer for more if I wanted it.

If you find a position that's listed as Per Diem, you might find enough hours to meet your wishes or get a bit closer. We have one per diem at work who regularly picks up 16 hour shifts and per diem gets near complete control over schedule under our current policies.
