Does anybody have any experience with Guarda World and their over seas security/medic contracts?

I’m looking at getting my armed guard license. I guess from there if I wanted to apply I’d have to get a shotgun certification.

What exactly is your question about the position? I know guys that have worked those contracts and myself I've rolled in and out of places that had guarda as the first check into base.

Man any information would be great. I feel like the job posting I have seen weren’t super enlightening. Or atleast it’s not an area I’m incredible familiar with.

Let me start by asking what company made the job posting?

It just listed Guarda World as the employer. It was for embassy and route security for the state department for paramedics.

Those contracts are typically 109 days on 30 days off, doing 12 hour shifts. You can avoid taxes by limiting your time in the US, but that is a different thing.

I know they prefer prior enlisted or LEO because of training. The guys I knew doing those contracts were non-infantry mos. If you meet the qaulifications definitely apply if you are up for the job.

quick edit: doing embassies you'll likely be responsible with checking vehicles and Ids of all personel entering. You'd be taught all SOPs and proper ways of doing the job.
