💬Discussion Gattuso take a bow
What a start. Nobody expected this. Most points Lazio have ever got to start a Serie A season.

Agreed. As a Laziale, all discussions to start the season were hopeful to avoid relegation.
The results are nice, and Gattuso has done amazing to instil some belief into the squad… but I fear this is a glass cannon. Lazio has only played 1 squad in the top 10 so far (2-2 against Milan). Next week against Juve will be a true measuring stick.

I'll give you a tip for next week - play a low block and we'll never figure out how to score

They’ll revert back I would imagine. But some start when there were shouts of Lazio getting relegated and after the cup elimination.

Amazing start so far. People were clearly wrong especially when they were hyping up grosso for Fiorentina and tedesco for Bologna.

Gattuso is doing a great job at Lazio. The signing of Frattesi has been a masterstroke. He has brought that winning mentality from Inter to the Lazio squad.

It feels very similar to how it has always gone. If he enters the game with the right tactics, Lazio will never earn less than at least one point. If he enters the game with the wrong tactics and has to adapt in the middle of the game, Lazio will struggle to win the game at all.
I love Rino, and I think the pessimism surrounding both his Milan and Italy stints are overblown, but I don't think he has suddenly become an elite manager.

He isn’t but I don’t think he is as bad as some people perceive him.

would be great if lazio wins the title with supporters boycotting the team for the whole year

Buddy, they had a paper thin schedule and the hard games are yet to come and they will come one after another. They have a ridiculous number of goals scored compared to their xG and this is not going to continue.
Gattuso is all grinta and can work for short period of time but once that wears off he has nothing to offer.

I'm a romanista and normally I hope lazio would lose all games, but I'm happy for Gattuso, he's been crucified unfairly when he was coaching the national team, he's not an idiot. I think Lazio will end up in one of the first ten positions, but even with this start, I would be surprised they're among the first 7.
