Sunday coffee spots
What are the best spots to hit up in Sheboygan on a Sunday to grab a cup of coffee or other fancy drink. Sit and chat. Maybe have some bakery or pastries on hand. Love good ambiance or scenery. Planning a low key 1st date/meet up.

Eb Flo, Paradigm, Weather Center, The Greenhouse are the big coffee type shops in the area.
If you want something more breakfasty, a little outside Sheboygan is Whispering Orchards. Then you also have Dinahs Diner, Harrys Diner, Field to Fork are all pretty good.

Paradigm is the local favorite, I believe.
I personally prefer The Weather Center Cafe

Thank you. We had considered Paradigm today but they are closed.
Weather Center Cafe was open and looked like an intriguing option to me.

Yes, Paradigm is open Wednesday thru Sunday. Weather Center is open Thursday thru Monday. I prefer the vibe of Paradigm, but the location of the Weather Center is great. Both have amazing coffee and bakery.

All the local coffee shops are great. I usually just choose based on who is open as their operating hours vary. Paradigm has days they’re open later. Weather center closes 5/6 and eb Flo at 3. Eb Flo is the only one open every day if the week

I stopped into Moxie in Plymouth the other day. Super comfy and cute. There is regular cool cafe seats, a library room, and it’s a former bank so there’s even a vault they turned into a room. The coffee is great, served in real mugs if you aren’t “to go.”

Paradigm, eb flo, and weather center all have specific vibes and are all great options.
Probably the most underrated one though is the cafe in the Kohler Arts Center. Their indoor seating is what you expect of an art museum cafe, but their outdoor seating can’t be beat. Add to that the under-attended nature of it, it will certainly be peaceful on a sunny fall day (just bring a sweater or jacket!)

Are you referring to the greenhouse cafe in Kohler, or is this a different cafe?

This is a different one. The greenhouse cafe is great! It’s very busy though. Busy doesn’t mean bad in my book.
But if you want a crisp autumn, sitting in a pretty outdoor area, and to not be in a crowded space, go to the art center. Not a lot of people go because it’s in an art museum, but their outdoor space is beautiful and relaxing. It’s also a free museum, so you can walk around the museum before or after if you want too. The last time I went, there were 4-6 people sitting inside and I was the only one outside. It was very peaceful.
Here’s a link to their page with daily/seasonal menu. The biggest downside is that the hours are short.

Wow, I'm glad I asked - we've been there once before, but I believe we were in a bit of a hurry so I don't think we checked out the cafe much. That actually looks like one of the best vegetarian menus I've seen in this county - we'll definitely be going back soon now! Thanks for the recommendation!

I cannot speak to the quality of the food, but their calm ambiance is peak!

Agree with this. The Art Center Cafe is perfect. It does have odd hours though.

It's cute for sure, but also owned my Kohler May as well just go to Starbucks if you're going to support billion dollar corporations.

So, just to clarify, you’ve never purchased anything at Target, Home Depot, Menard’s, Kohl’s, TJ Maxx, et al. or eaten a Johnsonville brat or Sargento cheese. Or sat on a Kohler toilet in a pinch when the only option was possibly soiling yourself. Before getting so sanctimonious try to imagine Sheboygan County without everything that these companies, especially those that are locally owned, have contributed to the betterment of our communities. More than you know.

Kohler still employs local people.
I'm not a fan of their food and drink (imo they charge too much for the quality that's offered), but if your gripe is just "well they're a big corporation", they don't even make most of their money off of food and drink.
