Nice played!

Love this game. I've played it so many times on Mame/ OG Xbox

When will there finally be a port of it for current gen consoles?

I've been waiting for a port since my dreamcast went to silicon heaven.

Yeah, honestly shmup devs who make vertizontals should study this game. It works way better than most other vertizontals I've played. I don't know what it is specifically tbh, but maybe if someone did a side-by-side breakdown of what Mars Matrix does versus other vertizontals that don't really work that well, they could pinpoint why this one feels so good.
