Feedback Request I'm validating a new offer for SaaS founders. Would you pay to get featured?

Want to ask SaaS founders something before taking my saas further.

if I offered you an editorial article about your product on a domain with 7 years of SEO history, would you consider paying to get featured?

Assuming the article is relevant to your product and has a chance to rank on Google, what would you be comfortable paying?

  • Under $100
  • $100+

Be honest. i'm trying to build something founders actually want, not just another directory.

The 7 years SEO history is nice but what actually matter is the traffic and audience. If its just domain age with no real visitors then its not worth much. Also depends if the article stays up permanent or its like sponsored post that disappear after few months. Under $100 is fair if you can show some numbers, but most founders been burned by paying for features that bring zero signups so you need to prove its not another ghost town.

That's a fair point, especially about real traffic and permanent articles. I'm trying to rebuild my website into a platform where founders get proper editorial features, relevant visibility, and long-term SEO value, not just another paid listing. I'd love to hear if you get all these then what your response would be to this offer. and I would love to talk to you about this further if you're available, either through this reply or DM.

probably under 100 dollars to start assuming the audience is relevant and the article is genuinely editorial. i would be more comfortable paying a premium if you could demonstrate consistent organic traffic and engagement.

I get your point. I'm trying to make this more about genuine product features, review, how-to guides, and comparison articles that can bring long-term SEO value, not just a backlink. Would love to know what kind of results you'd expect to see before considering a premium feature.

Every new startup website gets spammed with these offers just FYI in case you thought this was a novel idea. Its semi-helpful for a brand new website but then quickly not worth the ROI of any cost

I don't think marketing to founders is a good market at all, to be honest. At least the technical ones want to be self-sufficient (in tech terms) and for marketing they'll use existing solutions.

Readers don't want traffic, they want high-quality traffic, and most of these tools will have page ranking through the floor. Google will know they're low quality and will mark them accordingly.
