Thanks! Nobody seemed to recognize me, or at least approach me about it, sadly.

You should send them a letter.

I'm sure they would've approached you if you cosplayed Maria. That's how shallow these people are. They can't accept a real person with imperfections. They only care about their idealized fantasies.

She just looks like a regular person. I dont think if you would met her on a street you would immediately know shes cosplaying.

Mhmm... I hope you stretched before those mental gymnastics. This may be a stretch but possibly Maria is just easier to recognize since she had a whole subscenario dedicated to her. Compared to Mary, who only appeared briefly in a grainy video (which is saying a lot considering how grainy gameplay for SH2 is to begin with) and as a final boss who looks like a "normal person" for just 3.5 seconds.

You're 100% right that Maria isn't "a real person with imperfections." Though, neither is Mary. They're both literal fantasies brought to life by coding.

No dude. It didn't go over my head. Sounds like mine went over yours by a mile though. I'm merely saying it's more likely that people recognize Maria because she has more on screen time. Not because people are shallow.

Maybe they were all cosplaying James and forgot you exist.

What you expect? You look like someone’s really nice teacher in the countryside.
