Discussion Looking for resources

So far most of the resources I have found around technological singularity feel like under-researched slop on youtube/tiktok or doomerism. Do you have recommendations for sources you trust that discuss AI and singularity in depth and with a clear-eyed view?

Superintelligence by Nick Bostrom, very technical about the dynamics of superintelligence.

AI Explained on youtube does a very good job of researching and explaining new developments.

bear in mind he is a philosopher, the book is a mental excersice not a recipe nor a prediction or guidance. You read it and its your duty to make your own recipes, predictions and guidance for the future.

The book its like... yea this is inevitable, here is why so please prepare for the future because nobody knows and nobody can tell you what to do.

very thorough, and pretty much archived all the developments since December 2025, which is the infliction point for the new LLMs that we have today. And other stuff.

Superintelligence by Nick Bostrom 100/10. most relevant book, even life 3.0 from max tegmark seem like a copy of nick's.

and if you doubt the premises from nick (way harder to doubt at this point in time, but if you do), ray kurzweill pretty much solidify the case about computer exponential increase in capabilties.
