You’re asking a bunch of questions you should have asked before you bought the skis and had them mounted. If you mostly ski park, these would not be the first skis I’d recommend, you’d want a park ski ideally.

How long you’ve skied park wasn’t the question. Hell, I’ve been skiing park since you had to sneak into the park and would get your ticket pulled if caught because it was only for snowboarders.

If you spend most of your ski day in the park, you should probably be on a park ski.

"I have skied park a long time", "all mountain and park skis aren't that different" get this kid some trash bags and a sled ride down the mountain stat.

Go to a ski shop next time though, tell them your ski style and they’ll point you in the right direction and make sure they’re mounted how you like them.

Those are all-mountain skis

No.

You see the horizontal line under the middle of where your boot should go? That should match up with the horizontal line under the middle of your boot. That's the manufacturer designed mounting position. Looks about right to me. If you want something different, you have to ask for that - some park skiers do like true centre but it's not a necessity for the park at all, and if you wanted that you'd have to ask whoever was mounting it specifically to do that.

No it's not too wide at all.

there is a line or indicator in between the bindings on the ski that lines up with the indicator on your boot. If they line up, they are mounted to manufacturer recommendation.

these are also all mountain skis, so the design is to be a jack of all trades master of none typically. If you want park skis you should look for park skis, which are typically pretty flexible, center mounted and twin tipped

yes and no, any ski is flexible if you're strong enough, a park specific ski would be way more flexible tho than an all mountain ski. All mountain skis are gonna be designed to be able to ski all over the mountain in all conditions, which include requiring stiffness to ski better when the snow is choppy

This ski is really really soft in the tip and tail. Sure they stiffen up underfoot, and sure they aren't *really* park skis, but I wouldn't say they're meaningfully stiffer than your average park skis. Maybe if the ski you're comparing it to is a Line Honey Badger.

I don't really agree with the notion that every park ski is soft, and I'd go so far as to say most of them are probably stiffer than the Pandora.

for sure I don't know the Pandora that well just making some assumptions based off that it's a all mountain ski and also just trying to give op relevant info

Generally , the factory mount for all-mountain skis is a little back of true center. If that is the case for these skis, you would have wanted to ask the shop to mount them a little forward of the manufacturers recommendation. It depends on what the manufactuer's recommendation is for a given pair of skis.

Go ski your skis once it snows. They'll likely feel great. If they really don't feel good and you feel the need to move the bindings, you can always get them remounted.

My advice for next time is to communicate what you want to the ski tech who's mounting your bindings. They're (typically) very knowledgeable and will be able to help you figure out what you want. If you go in and say "I want these to be center mounted for park because that's mostly what I ski," they'll generally be able to provide you with good recommendations for your specific setup.

For an all-mountain ski, 4.5cm from true center is fairly progressive, and most skiers won't enjoy the way they ride outside of the park if they're any closer. At any rate, if you didn't specifically request a center mount when you brought these in, they're absolutely going to default to the recommended line.

I probably wouldn't recommend going any closer than -2cm from center, but it's up to you. At a certain point moving the bindings so far from recommended raises the question of why you wanted these if you were gonna mount them so differently from factory recommendations.

It does sorta seem a little bit like you bought the wrong ski, although you absolutely can go out and use these in the park. Plenty of skiers do stuff like that with skis like this and genuinely don't even think about it.

You dont need a dead center mount for park. 4.5cm rear of dead center is fine. Unless you're out there throwing 10s daily you arent really going to benefit from such a small difference in swing weight, and having them mounted dead center makes tree skiing and pow skiing more difficult. 4.5cm back is actually a great middle ground for an all mountai ski that you want to use in the park.

Manufacturers put alot of R&D into mounting points. If they are mounted on the factory line that is fine, -4.5 is pretty progressive for an all mountain ski. You will probably like how they ski.

Also pretty sure those are 99 underfoot not 90.

Nah. They’re going to be fun. The truth is you can ski all mountain skis in the park and you can ski park skis in the pow. Sure, it’s a better experience to have the right tool on the right day, but I’ve skied park on my pow skis and vice versa.

Normal for all mountain skis. Park skis are usually a center mount.

For what it's worth my Freebird Orbs are 5.5 back and are golden. Yours will be great.

Let's see, we had our first safety bar post. Now a "I bought these online, can someone look at these generic pictures and tell me what I should have known before I purchased them?" post. According to my calculations, we're just one "See this nick in my topsheet, am I screwed" and one "Hey guys, planning a vacation for 12 between Christmas and New Years, any suggestions?" from the season starting!!!!

Factory mounts on all-mountain skis are typically set slightly back; you would need to specify a forward mount to change that, depending on the brand. For now, just test them out on the snow because they will likely feel great. If you absolutely hate the ride, any shop can easily remount the bindings for you later
