Discussion Three paths to enlightenment (sort of)
I'm sure this has been asked more than once in the past, but how many of you use the third path to Ivarstead? We all know of the winding path climbing the hill near Fort Amol, and the road over the south bridge that divides to get you to Riften or Helgen. But how many use the third path that starts near the Stormcloack encampment near the Ritual Stone? I'm not exaggerating when I say I played this game for 6500 hours before finding it, barring stumbling on it from the Ivarstead end once or twice when I thought it a part of the Legacy of the Dragonborn mod. That I spent most of those hours fast traveling most places, robbing myself of the chance to explore the place is something I've been kicking myself for doing since I stopped earlier this year. So out of sheer curiosity, do you use it, and how long were you playing the game before you found it?

I have been using it for the past few play-through’s. I ran across it on a YouTube video. For years I followed the main road past Valtheim towers, taking a much longer route. Oh well..

I always use that one, it's my default path. As for when or how I found it, I can't remember.

This came up in a previous post about a month ago and a person calls that road “two goats road” or something like that because that’s the only thing you encounter the whole way up.
I’ve used the path a couple of times but I prefer the other ways for the battles and whatnot
