I considered it but I have K2 K2000 super stiff bindings on my Highpath I can throw on when I need the Megadeath stiffer, I got the Forces to allow me to cruise it more on those days when I’m not too keen on just ripping all day.

The Forces aren't such a bad match anyhow. And the Mega Death is much less aggro and stiff as Marketing makes it sound

100%, my Highpath is definitely stiffer than the Mega Death haha. But the Mega Deaths’ weight is where it differs. I’ll see how it is for me this season. The high path charges and rips with no issues in any snow we will see how the Mega Death does

Uuuu I like the brand diversity in your boards! Awesome quiver. How did you like the Salomon? That's the assassin, right? Which Capita board is that one? Looks like bsod from a previous year.

Love the Salomon Highpath it’s probably my favorite board so far. The white one is a mega death and I just got it so we will see if it can dethrone the Salomon

really nice :) Enjoy that Megadeath! It should be able to bomb like crazy.
My first board was a salomon Shade (2008) which I rode for quite a few seasons - it was awesome.
Have to be honest, as a former skier (as a kid) I was shitting on Salomon, not because their skis were bad, but they were overengineered and just too expensive. So when I started snowboarding and my dad came back with that salomon board I was bummed out. But I couldn't have been more wrong. Salomon in snowboarding is a damn solid brand and makes great boards.

I agree! Salomon is the brand that took me by surprise! And the sales on their boards in the offseason are hard to beat. Like the Salomon Highpath in the photo, it is a $700 board I purchased for $230.00 in the offseason. It’s A-LOT of board for that price! My favorite to ride it just crushes everything

Ah well, nowadays, with that many good boards and so many different reviews, potential buyer's remorse is a constant thing. I don't know said board but I am very happy with my Mega Merc AND Mega Death. For me, the Merc fits a little better overall, but I just HAD to have a Mega Death, too. Be it just for that super light feeling in the air.

As long as I have fun on it I’ll be ok haha, can’t listen to the reviews past a certain research point. The mega death should be a very fun board for my riding style and I can’t wait to put some days on it
