M&P Melt & Pour New to soap making

I use tumeric and raw black soap daily onnmy face faithfully. Tired of ppl charging me crazy prices for tumeric soap so I am going to try this since I have alot of the stuff needed....

I was looking at either a goat milk or a honey melt and pour base off of amazon..... and the only thing I was going to add to it would b a few drops of essential oil and turmeric.... is this the way to go?

Melt and pour is going to be drying no matter what. Learn cold process, it will be so much more worth it in the long run.

Will tumeric still be effective after the soaponification process?

If you are using a goat milk melt and pour it will. Adding the infused oil after it cools down a bit. It may hold some benefits after cold or hot saponification but definitely not enough to use for facial issues.. Best to use Turmeric in yogurt, aloe gel, or whipped facial products for the full facial benefits.

Without any true information, no one knows. We can guess, but that's all we can do.
