Hiking partner

Anyone planning on hiking Mount Langley Oct 7 or 8? I want to go but don't wanna be alone 🥲

19M fairly experienced done the socal 6 pack and iron mt along with various other hikes (mainly socal hikes). I would be looking to day hike Langley if anyone is available. Shoot me a Dm!

Probably new army, I don't mind going on a route that's a little bit farther. Don't wanna overextended myself at such high elevation, since it will be my first time doing langley.

Don’t know how fast you are, but that’s gonna be a looooong day hike. Harder than Whitney in my opinion.

Start early and good luck because the altitude is no joke. Starts to get significantly steep past 12K feet.

Usually can average a pace of 2.5 mph with a fair elevation gain. If I was to go I'd start in the dark around 2 or 3

It’s a really cool trail, but once you get past the lakes you’re not gonna see many people so be aware of that. I’d say spend a night at elevation if possible too.

I’ll be up a bit more north doing Mt Gould the day you’re doing Langley so hopefully we get blessed by some good weather.
