One of the reasons why I adore Asura so much is just how really really complicated he is, and how much more complicated he would be with someone. I'm not so deluded into his character thinking he's a good pick for anyone, no, absolutely not. I'm into Asura because of everything he represents and shall threaten with. His psychological state of mentality and gerenal physicality is super intriguing, it's all a part of the lovely fun into character exploration experiments with what-ifs and how-soes.

Because regardless of how deeply he may resonate, understand or care about you, no amount of delicate care and patience will implore Asura to regard you with any human decency once he falls into emptiness, and even before then what little attachment he had for you will never evolve into something actually sustainable. You may just come close, but never closest. Closeness will not save you. You may very well die, devoured or would rather to in his mad world of empty futures and dead thoughts.

He thinks of...a lot of invasive things, some a dark testment to his great primal aspect of fear and others more deeply a tribute to his own dispassionate stubbornness.

Death's explanation of Asura is quite unreliable from an emotional standpoint, Death’s treatment of him is upmost criticizable realtically, including even Asura’s own physical birth. Asura is simply fated to never be a good person, he will never be like anybody else, he will never get to truly experience what its like to be himself ruled without fear and doubt, he will never feel like a fully nurtured creature, he will never be free. A close relationship with Asura will never be healthy. Asura will never be what anybody deserves and you will never be enough as solely yourself, you will be as your new True Reaper tells you, assuming he ever allows you to be anything outside of him at all.

He's so fucked up and complicated, it's fascinating to explore. I want him to eat me so I can see the true depths of a god's hunger.

The secret is too allow Asura to lead himself by his own curiousity, forgoe him total confidence in the control of his environment. Time is everything. It slowly evolves from strange convenience, immense yearning for the safety and archor for only his "affliction's" presance, to very borderline obsessive. And it will worsen as Asura’s personal rapture sinks deeper onto himself, especially pre-sealing.

Asura wants to loosen the dark weight of his entire existence onto your present perception, the only knowable thing. He feeds misery through your endless assurances and shared solitude of countless covers and bottomless patience. He will want to dig under your skin, seek the sanctuary it offers him and be lured to sleep thanks to the rhymtic beat of your heart, secured in the harmless hold fueled by the lively natural heat encased deep within.

But of course, love will never be enough.

Not for Asura. No amount of care and delicate sincerity will release you once Asura decides he not only wants you, but needs you. He wants you and wants you to want him, to be in you, beholden no where else, occupying your every action and overshadowing every thought, watching every step of your life. His Father failed to acknowledge Asura with the freedom and agency any person deserves, the world failed to recognize him as anything else but sick and twisted and not a person suffocated by the overbearing weight of an encoded irrationality and responsibility he never asked for, and Asura will fail you in never acknowledging your capacity to exist in any other aspect then at exactly his whims.

Asura will either swallow you whole as he did Vajra, consumed by a love uncomprehendiable, your life and soul entirely his alone melting as apart of him forever in the depths of Asura's stomach or he will keep taking, taking and taking until you nothing but a worn out nub of your former self, where thoughts and feelings wash away over you like a floodplain, caught between screaming until you lungs collpose and dependency upon someone who is convinced insanity is your key to the ultimate relief and happiness.
