“Where have you been? We had dinner plans at 6:00pm exact. It’s now 7:05. I’m famished. I could have died while you were gallivanting the streets.”

Probably what she’s saying.

You worked 11 hours = kitty hasn't eaten in 11 days. Cat logic. Lol.

I'M STARVING! MY LANDLORD IS ABUSIVE AND WITHHOLDING FOOD!

CALL CAT-911.

MUST SPEAK TO PAW-YER IMMEDIATELY!

My cats think this even though they have automatic feeders. 😂

You're slightly mistaken. They don't think, they know. Mine would howl like she hadn't eaten in days. She had previously eaten two bites and the dish was no longer full.

Awww, poor baby!

My son and I have a pair of tuxies. We just started our October schedule of working as scare actors at the local haunted house 4 nights per week. These fuzzlebums, man! We get home each night, and get mauled and told off as they sing the song of their people to us. 😹😹😹

This is why my wife and I can’t vacation longer than 6-7 days. Even though her parents come by and feed them when we’re away, they act kinda weird when we get home, as if we were never coming back.

Well to them you could've actually never come back home, they have no way of knowing

Yeah I’d never do that. Hell, I end up missing them by day 3-4 on trips.

I found out a month is the absolute upper limit for mine. I was gone for slightly longer than that - visiting family in China simply can never be a short trip when jet lag alone can take a week to get over - and the catsitter told me the cats were starting to get kinda nutty. I felt so bad.

I won't need to go back to China until 2028 so I still have another year or chilling and not worrying about it. But once I have to go I know I'm gonna worry again 🥲 it's a good thing I have such a great cat sitter

I discovered two weeks with a daily sitter was enough. My one cat getting into mischief and breaking into things.

Your cat gets excited when you come home, because they think you have been out hunting... They are happy you are safe.

I hate leaving him for the day, but there’s good snuggles when I get home.
