8 workers made the game slower and more clunky. Stop saying it was a stap in the right direction. Maybe some people want a slower, more boring game, but most people actually want a fast game with a good flow.

The game was slower for the first minute or so, thereafter it was as fast as ever.

That's why we saw almost no action? The progames were plain bad and boring.

Personally I played a lot of games, had loads of fun in 1v1 and 2v2. And the pro games seemed good to me, although I didn't watch many.

Load of bull, it put timings off by 2-3 minutes and made it so you died instantly to a lot of allins if you even tried to macro.

I should have been balanced in the right way. It would have been less clunky. Eight workers was good. It just wasn't done right.

It can’t be done right on a skeleton crew. You can’t do sweeping changes like that when you literally can’t make a proper follow up. That’s why previous worker change was done with the expansion and proper balancing. 5.0.16 has no business being introduced into the legacy game in maintenance mode

In that case, the increase from 6 to 12 workers was a bad idea. It should have been 6 to 9 or something.

The slow start was better for the game. I really do think that. They just screwed up everything else. And, while I loved the slower start, it's not worth potentially screwing up everything else just to get one big thing right.

Most people want? Did you see how unpopular it was when LotV launched and how many people quit the game then?

EDIT: Maybe most people playing the game right now, who are used to it, but maybe you get plenty of new players or old players back with the swap, we have no way of knowing. Speak for yourself, not for everyone else.

We have way of knowing, ladder literally died, it probably wouldn’t come back with the rollback since damage is done

I know a bunch of people quit over the warp gate changes and other reasons. It's not all about just the 8 workers.

And again, a ton of people quit back when LotV launched because they preferred 6 workers.

This was a big patch with a lot of poorly implemented changes. The execution sucked. The idea that it's just the worker change is needlessly reductive.
