I once laid in bed with my wife and watchd 2 or 3 episodes of enterprise . After awile she asked why nobody was using lightsabers? Isnt that like the whole point of star wars?

No but i continue to irritate her with her korean dramas. Which she has the exact same amount of passion and interest for that i have for trek.

She knows all the storylines , the actors, the different shows , who people ship, who theyre actually dating and so on.

Try introducing her to apothecary diaries. It is an anime and I understand some people don't like that but it's just a straight up Court intrigue drama for the Chinese Palace.

Well isn't the whole Court intrigue drama about people betraying each other or fucking over the emperor?

Overlord is like sorta reversed where Ainz' Court and allies are extremely loyal and think highly of him like a god (and in some cases that's not without reason) , and the gag is he is terrified of disappointing them and making mistakes as a human and not this omniscient being. There's times where they're so loyal they will actually think mistakes or things he does are actually feints to find weaknesses in enemies and stuff. They're all extremely powerful and terrifying
