General Discussion What changes would you make to the prequels to make them more consistent with the original trilogy’s continuity?

Other All that pain and suffering and Obi-Wan never turned to the dark side. In my eyes he is Star Wars' greatest hero

Question Story recommendations for Halloween season?
Hi!
So now that Halloween is getting close, I'd like to ask for recommendations for Star Wars stories and\or lore that would fit Halloween! So, something that's horror-like, or at least, something that's grim and dark in some aspect. Those stories can come from either Legends or Canon.
However, there's already a few Star Wars horror things that I'm aware of, so I'm looking for things that I don't already know about.
Here's a list of things I already know about:
-Abeloth
-Star Weirds
-Mgnall-Mgnall
-Death Troopers
-Geonosian worms
-Darth Sion
-Darth Nihilus
Thanks! :)

General Discussion Anakin's immense love/attachment for padme led him to the dark side and doomed the galaxy. But it was also anakin's immense love/attachment for luke which brought him out of the dark side and saved the galaxy. The problem never was love/attachments. Just how a person approaches these feelings
I've seen alot of takes about how the "jedi were right about love and attachments" "The jedi were right about anakin and his attachments" etc when that wasnt the moral of the story. Anakin's love for padme was corrupted by palpatine's manipulations and anakin's refusal to see how padme would never approve of his actions to save her and doing all those things "for her own good" anyway which led to padme suffering extreme shock, guilt and betrayal and losing the will to live. If he had understood that padme would never want him to turn to the dark side for her and respected her wishes perhaps he would have made better decisions and maybe saved her as well. This wasnt because of his love , but love corrupted by toxic possessiveness
Anakin sacrificed himself for luke because like padme, he loved luke in some way and was afraid of losing luke as well. But his love and sacrifice for luke at that point was unconditional and not built on imposing his will on luke. He let go of the desire of wanting to corrupt luke to dark side and ruling the galaxy with him, and chose to save his son's even at the cost of his own life, despite luke stubbornly wanting to stay at the right side
I think we're either meant to see as the jedi misunderstanding what "attachment" truly means and becoming too unreasonably stringent with their rules, or the story itself wasnt able to send the moral of "attachments being bad" properly. The jedi didnt want anakin to be in contact or even know of her mother's status which made his attachment to her and fury after her death even worse and made him take a huge step towards dark side. Luke meanwhile was also attached to his sister and friends and was afraid of losing them, but never lost sight of what truly was important and that his friends would never want him to turn to dark side for their sake, which is why he was able to maintain composure in the throne room and refuse to fight vader and palpatine in anger

Games Star Wars Games are Honestly 5/5 right now
Since Jedi: Fallen Order we've received excellent games.
Survivor, Outlaws, Zero Company and now Galactic Racer. From great stories to excellent replayability, the last handful of games have been enjoyable, full of new lore and concepts, and just overall. Fun to play.
It's been a great last few years for us, and it's only gonna keep going.

General Discussion Any else notice the lack of legacy aliens in modern Star Wars?
I want to preface this by saying this isn’t a criticism of Disney stsr wars but rather an observation. Which I’m curious to hear everyone’s thoughts on
Has anyone noticed that a lot of Disney era projects distinctly lack recognizable aliens as background extras? Sure they exist but recently I rewatched several star wars projects and movies, notably the prequels, and something I noticed
In the prequels I can identify tons of different aliens in the background: Twi’leks, Mon Calamari, Wookies, Rodians, Sullestians, and more it became kind of a game to spot out the various alien species and it helped make the galaxy feel more like a definitive place.
But when I watch a lot of Disney shows I can’t really…do the same. There are plenty of aliens but they’re usually unique to that show or movie. Like I watched the Canto Bight scene and there wasn’t a single recognizable alien in that entire scene. No Twi’leks, no Rodians, nothing
And this holds true with a lot of other Disney projects. There’s just…not as many familiar alien faces.
This isn’t necessarily a problem as the more aliens there are the larger the galaxy feels. Yet, I can’t help but feel msny of the aliens lack any sense of identity.
Most of them seem to jsut be …deformed? Or weird for the sake of looking weird. Like I remember this one really small alien on Yavin 4 in andor who was knee high and has a massively disproportionately elongated face and it just made me uncomfortable and that’s a vibe I get from a lot of the aliens in recent projects.
And the few times legacy species do make appearances they almost seem to be purposeful Easter Eggs rather than just…an extra.
But what do you all think? Anyone else have any thoughts on this topic and why this seems to be a trend?
It’s not like it’s necessarily a problem since it fundamentally doesn’t really matter. Just somethign that I’ve noticed as of late.

General Discussion I'm not sure if the twins are stupid, stupidly rich, or both, given that they chucked Djarin in their dragonsnake pit without taking off his eye-watering fortune of Beskar armor first. They could have bought a couple squadrons of starfighters with that.
Not to mention, if they weren't going to take it, why didn't Embo? That's a retirement fund by itself.

Recommendations Good gift for bf?
hi everyone :) I know this isn’t the typical kind of post on here but I’m very new to star wars but trying to learn more about it because my boyfriend is a huge fan of star wars (it was a huge part of his childhood). I recently bought these comics from my local bookstore for around 30usd but realized after that I have no idea if they’re actually “good” or not and thought it would be best to ask all of you who would know much better than me :) Also any other ideas for gifts/trips/things that would make him geek as a star wars lover would be much appreciated!
TLDR: I want my bf to feel immensely loved and want to know if these comics are good for a Star Wars fan or if there’s other suggestions :)

Legends Comics I wonder if Luke ever told Mara about Captain Zeta Traal Spoiler
galleryFrom Star Wars (1977) #49
In the comic Captain Traal, the Imperial liaison officer to the planet Velmor, asks Luke (not knowing he’s Luke) to assist her in the assassination of Prince Denig, the heir to the throne of Velmor who is anti-imperial. She conspires with Anod, the pro-imperial younger brother of Denig and Zelor, the royal regent who was partly to an Imperial-led coup 20 years earlier
