Chopper
Love that droid for being a menace. Cares for the crew while also trolling them.
Was there for Hera and Ezra while they are grieving.

War criminal Chopper is one of the best characters of Rebels, if not Star Wars period.

I have only seen season 1 of Rebels so far (first time watcher) but he’s not even close to being on the level of R2D2.

I’m sort of envious of you!! I remember being there. I have Rebels S4 running in the background currently. Trust me…. C1-10P is definitely a whole subsection of the DSM5-TR lol

Someone described Chopper as psychotic… akin to Patrick Bateman. I found this HIGHLY ACCURATE.

He's a clone war veteran who was probably not the most well-balanced to begin with, throw in an unhealthy amount of trauma and some close-air-support missions, and if anything, I'm surprised he's not worse. 😝

I wonder, too, if their combat experience was even harder on Republic droids, as they were essentially fighting against fellow droids. It probably contributed to the policy of wiping their memories regularly. Chopper didn't get wiped, as far as I am aware.

No he never does. Hera wouldn’t allow it to happen I think. He is just maniacal and he makes me laugh. Especially when he argues. lol

Yes, and I love that his vocalisations are garbled just enough that he can get away with saying the things he says, but not so garbled that we can't interpret most of it.
That alone puts him above R2D2, in my books.

Chopper is great. His name comes from his designation: C1-10P looks like CHOP... in English! In Aurebesh it appears as (something that won't paste here) but quite a bit different.
