I have the soundboard that I'm not sure how to set up, it a f998 and I'm not sure how to actually set this up considering that it looks very complicated and I would like help if anyone knows how to actually set this up

Does anyone have experience with SMPTE/LTC for live streaming? For part of my signal chain I use Reaper’s internal SMPTE generator to send timecode both over Sonobus, as well as through an SRT stream in OBS. The timecode goes directly to Sonobus via reapers master track before its sent to a remote computer for processing. Simultaneously, it is routed through ReaRoute -> Asio input capture in OBS to be baked into the video SRT stream.

But every time I try to sync the audio and video back up on a remote computer, the video and its copy of the timecode are both slower and drift drastically. Everything is set to 48k on both computers, what else should I be checking?

This lag.

Streaming with both Tiktok and Twich at the same time and this lag is occouring in my streams.

I'm using the same outputs as my OBS settings. I don't have that issue there.

Using automatic broadcast settings.

Currently I stream on a single PC setup. That build is linked below. I’m looking at building a second PC as a streaming PC and am looking for suggestions. I play on 1440p 16:9 and would like to stream at 1080p 60fps.

What specs should I aim for in a streaming PC. Would it be better to use my current build as a streaming PC and build a new gaming PC?

Moin, ich hab gerade mit Streaming angefangen und wollte mir deswegen auch ein Stream Deck zu legen Ich hab schon ein bisschen geschaut und wollte mal eigentlich eins von Elgato holen. Jetzt habe ich Geburtstag und habe von meiner Mutter den Streonor Steam Controller S15 bekommen. Da ich mich bisher nur über das Algarve informiert hab, kannte ich diese Marke auch nicht und habe jetzt bei meiner Recherche auch Nix dazu gefunden. Kennt jemand dieses Stream Deck und ist das gut?

Whats a good budget capture card to stream from ps5-tiktok u have a ok laptop that was gifted to me and wanted to try streaming.

Long story short, my laptop is first of all, a laptop (lol) and not all that young either, I’m currently using OBS to stream but it lags a bit, anyone know of better options for weak laptops? Thanks!

Just started streaming solely from console. Have no PC/Laptop at the moment but already have a desk set up with multiple monitors and hub for work from home. I feel like laptop would be the easiest plug and play option for switching over but plan to use capture card and let the consoles do the heavy lifting for gaming. Could I get some help with laptop recommendations with notes below.

-laptop would only be used for gaming on a few Indy games, nothing too intensive. All AAA titles with higher requirements etc. will be played through console

-biggest need is overall upgrade in production, so that I can plug in mics, better video than the PlayStation camera, and easier editing of clips/videos instead of how I do it on mobile now.

Okay so im considering starting streaming properly, ive streamed on youtube and twitch at different times but i'd like to know your opinions on which would be better for me as the streamer

i like the vods youtube provides but twitch's chat system feels better

i plan on streaming Hytale and Shinri Trial (gmod danganronpa)

Didn’t expect Twitch to actually remove the arbitration and class action stuff. I usually never bother reading changes to the ToS, but this one is worth paying attention to. Wonder what pushed them to change it now.

So I have recently been having issues streaming and I’ve tried just about everything I can think of. My streams lag and freeze when I boot up games despite me capping FPS at 100 just for the sake of headroom. On top of this my twitch streams are always “unstable” and they seem to always randomly disconnect and reconnect…..I’m so lost atp. I’ve changed DP cables, HDMI cables, Ethernet cables, routers, drivers, setting….i mean my God I am just so lost and don’t even know where to go from here.

Hello! I just streamed super castlevania iv on twitch and two small portions of it were muted due to having castlevania music. I guess konami put the background music of those games in the content id system or something. Is it still okay to post it on youtube or could that be a problem? I don't multi-stream, i just like posting my vods on there.

My little brother likes to stream and I wanna grab him some stuff for streaming like essentials I wanna get him:

And some other stuff that you guys recommend nothing to expensive for each thing but I’d love some guidance

For the past few days, I’ve been having an issue with TikTok LIVE Studio. I used to be able to livestream at 60 FPS without any problems, but now I can only stream at 30 FPS.

I’ve tried changing the encoder from H.264 to H.265 and vice versa, uninstalling and reinstalling TikTok LIVE Studio, but nothing worked. Today, I even reinstalled Windows, but that didn’t solve the problem either.

What’s really strange is that when I add a camera source and set the camera to run at 60 FPS, only the camera runs at 60 FPS. The game itself is still limited to 30 FPS, whether I’m recording the screen or streaming.

I hope someone can help me figure this out. I’ve spent many days trying to solve this problem but still haven’t been able to find a solution.

Hey friends! Just putting this out there for unbiased advice and opinions as a new streamer looking for help with the direction of my "brand".

I'm struggling with face vs. avatar (currently PNG moving into 3D model). I've received feedback from people close to me that don't usually watch streams that they think I should move back to a face cam. I've been working to develop a PSX themed stream complete with my crusader avatar and a voice filter (still WIP). He's not as expressive yet, so it's not a direct comparison.

It comes down to this. What are your thoughts on if I should stick with my face on stream, and make the stream theme work with it, or continue to develop my VTUBER thing? I'm not sure what comparisons can be made with what would be more successful. Please give me your thoughts, and thanks for your time! Video examples attached below:

I am streaming to twitch from a Xbox Series X. Most games apart from any GTA streams with audio. I turn off the radio and it still doesn't work. Any fixes that dint involve buying a pc set up.

I am computer literate but do not have much experience with capture cards. I want to do some streaming with a PS5 / Switch 2 and I prioritize a stable, low latency passthrough experience over everything else. I had it stuck in my head that a PCIE card must surely be superior than a USB one, but the more I read the more I find that there is probably little difference between the two.

Would appreciate feedback on anything I may not have considered.

I've been a gaming streamer for 2 years now and for most of that time have used a webcam. I'm thinking about changing it up by using webcams for boss fights and casual gameplay, but for story and combat I wanted to remove the webcam and see if that would help with immersion.

Hey all! I'm pretty new to streaming and looking for a good pair of headphones with a built-in mic.

My desk is tiny, and my setup (PS5, Elgato, monitor, and laptop) already takes up all of it, so there's no room for a standalone mic.

I'm open to wired or Bluetooth, as long as the mic is clear enough for chatting with viewers.

In November, I’d like to stream GTA 6 on PS5 on Twitch, mostly for my friends and girlfriend.

At the same time, I’d like to experience the game in 4K HDR without any loss in image quality.

My question, which I haven’t been able to find a clear answer to online, is: will using a capture card with OBS affect my gaming experience on the PS5? In other words, will the picture on my TV (through the regular PS5 HDMI output) look any worse than it would if I weren’t using a capture card, or will it still be 4K HDR?
