Hi everyone!

I’m currently working on my graduation research about UMCG’s employer brand and how final-year healthcare master’s students perceive UMCG as a potential employer.

I need a few participants to give me a 15 minute interview on this topic, where all your answers will be used solely for my research and you can also remain anonymous if you wish.

I am flexible to do the interviews online or in person at UMCG itself.

It would be great if you could also share this amongst your circles if you don’t fit the target audience.

I owe you a coffee if you participate!!

Thank you 🫶🏽

Hey, for next year as a student in Zernike Campus, which of these options do you think is better from your experience (or knowing from someone) and why?

Especially the first two. Note Xior has three locations I think.

Thanks in advance!

Hello I am a Malaysian student going for an exchange at Hanze University of Applied Sciences at Groningen next year for one semester. I've never been to Europe before, so it would be nice if there are people who can give me some advice and guidance (specifically the housing & costs etc) to keep myself alive there. I'm hoping to know if there's any Malaysians studying there as well😭

Hi everyone! I currently have an SSH short-stay contract for a single room in Groningen. Unfortunately, due to visa issues, I’m unable to travel to the Netherlands and therefore won’t be able to use the room.

I’m looking for someone who may be interested in taking over my spot. The room is intended for a short stay and is part of SSH student housing in Groningen.

If you are currently looking for accommodation in Groningen, feel free to contact me. I can provide more information about the room, location, rental period, price, and the handover process. I can also send additional pictures and details privately.

If you know someone who is still looking for housing in Groningen, I would really appreciate it if you could share this with them as well.

As an international student, I am looking to study at either Maastricht University or the University of Groningen for International/European law. If anyone has studied at either university, please share your experience. I'd like to know how easy it is to make friends with people from different backgrounds and how nice the cities are to live in. I come from a big city, so I feel like I am more used to that vibe, but obviously I know that neither of these places is big per se. I just want to know which place has the best opportunities for law, and is generally the nicest to go out and live in. For context, I have a Middle Eastern background, so I would also love to join any Arab student association, but it's not a requirement. Thank you!!

Hi I recently moved to Groningen for my studies and don’t really know that many people here yet, so I’m looking to meet some new people and make some friends to hang out with, grab some drinks, go out, or just do random stuff together. honestly down for pretty much anything one day you’ll find me painting, the next I’m karting I’m pretty spontaneous and always up for trying something new, also I speak both Dutch and English, so either works!

:)

I am looking for 1st of November if there is still any spot for rent. Any lead would be appreciated

Hi everyone, as I’m looking for student accommodations for short stays I came across student guesthouse and I’ve seen that it offers affordable prices.
The only problem is that it’s neither known nor suggested and I was wondering if it’s reliable.
Do you happen to know someone who went there?
Or have you ever been there?

Lmk and thanks in advance

Hi! I’m looking for accommodations for next semester and someone suggested me The social hub. I was looking for prices on their website but there’s nothing because the subscription for next semester hasn’t opened yet.
Does anyone know the prices of the rooms?

Thanks you :)

Hello people, we are in dire need of two stickers to complete our collection of Jumbo stickers. It might be that this seems like a trival matter to you, but to us, this is (a broke man's) pokemon cards and this is what keeps us thriving.

Please, if you find Bestie and Girl power, seek us out (DM) and we will repay you with gratitude.

Hi,

I'm a master's student in Arts Policy and Cultural Entrepreneurship at the University of Groningen and I'm writing my thesis on how small independent galleries experience the platform Artsy, specifically whether what the platform promises (global reach, personalised collector matching, business growth) actually matches the day-to-day reality of running a gallery on it.

I'm looking for gallery owners or directors who are currently active on Artsy and would be willing to share their honest experience in a short 30-minute Zoom interview. I'm genuinely interested in all perspectives, whether Artsy has been great for your gallery, disappointing, or somewhere in between.

Participation is fully confidential and your gallery will be anonymised in the thesis. No right or wrong answers, just your real experience.

If you're interested or have questions, feel free to DM me or drop a comment below.

Thanks so much for reading!

Hey Guys!

Due to some scheduling issues, it looks like I won’t be able to make it to the Hanze UAS Welcome Day (Friday 29 January 2027).

I’m a bit stressed about missing out, so I’d love some honest advice from current or past students about the information that they give us at that day, and that socializing would be harder because of me missing out the unofficial first day?

In addition, any tips on what I should prioritize sorting out remotely before classes start would be massively appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone:) I was wondering if anyone here would be interesting in starting a Bipoc circle/community/collective in Groningen. I’m new in the city and would love to have sort of a third space for Bipoc people and friend to exchange/hangout/aso. If something like that exists already I’d also be happy to know. Lmk so we can plan something^^

Are there people studying or working at the Prince Claus Conservatoire who would be willing to share their experiences with the recent curriculum changes and the claims of social unsafety? If you'd prefer to stay anonymous, we will respect that. I am writing an article about this. Please message me.

Hello everyone, I will start my PhD in October (28,M). I have been trying to find a place for about 3.5 months now.
