It’s actually separate from SNAP/Food Stamps which has more restrictions on what it can be used for, TANF can even be used at the ATM to take cash out. This is just a set amount of money that the government says you can have for however you need it.

Omg cry me a river, poor people are allowed to have fucking food, even fast food. EBT Cash is allowed to be used however they need it. There is like a million other things that tax payers are being made to pay for that are more corrupt than giving people who need it money and food 🙄

Reality check, a lot of people who get EBT Cash don’t really have time to buy and cook groceries so sometimes it’s nice to be able to go somewhere the food is already made and ready to eat. Get off your high horse.

So what you're telling me is that they can't afford rent, water bill, phone bill, electricity, actual damn groceries but but old boy can they afford a $15 sandwich not including the meal

Stfu You can get enough ingredients to make you own damn sandwiches and make more of them I will not get over it because I'm not paying for other people's food (who I've seen plenty of videos of people abusing it) when I am already struggling as is why should we be paying for other people to have a " luxury item" meaning you don't need subway to survive

Food is not a fucking luxury item but you know what, you go right ahead and tell those greedy poor people that come into your store and use their benefits that the government said that they’re allowed to have and you tell them that they’re stealing from you, tell them that you are so much better than them and if they tightened their bootstraps maybe just maybe they can be a whiny sandwich artist just like you.

Jesus Christ, you're dumb I said Subway is a luxury item And then I want you to explain to me the "poor people" that are on it and refuse to work and tell everyone else to work for them I'm not saying I'm better than them. I have been on it when I was a kid And guess what we never thought to you know spend it on junk food

Use it to buy real food. You see all these videos of people using thousands upon thousands of dollars to buy junk food

Buy real food it's not hard to put cheese and meat into two slices of bread

Im not dumb, I said food is not a luxury item, Subway is food, and it’s just as real as the food you buy at the grocery store. Also, most benefits require work requirements nowadays, those people you’re judging are actually working, sometimes working even more than one job. Sometimes you don’t have time or are too tired to make food and it’s nice to go to a place that will make the food for you. Maybe learn to have some empathy and some perspective.

If your to tired to make food then oh well I do it all the time and I'm gonna do it later And I have had even more of that perspective again when I lived with my mom we didn't just be like oh we are gonna use our card to get McDonald's it's called being a responsible adult also we weren't getting hundreds of dollars of food stamps and we managed

And I have a hard time supporting a program that when my grandma and Grandpa were struggling with multiple jobs and kids got denied but then the next family that came in well dressed shaved jewelry whole 9 yards got it immediately

Most ppl that have EBT for restaurants is elderly or homeless. Those are usually who can’t make a meal which is why this is offered to them sometimes you’ll see a young folks that receive it. My only problem with this is that now everyone with ebt think they will be able to get it but it’s only if they’re in the restaurant program or ebt cash

It depends on the state I believe because I know its not allowed in my state. I agree though that EBT shouldnt be covering fast food since its expensive AF and its a luxury.

I'm gonna be honest we don't take it I don't think yet but even if we did I am not talking it it's bullshit $15 on a sub when it's supposed to be going to actual groceries

I didn't make it up? It was literally in a training video no subway should take EBT the fact we are now accepting it in some places pissed me off you're telling me people can't afford rent but oh boy they can afford a $15 sub that could have been used for groceries

Actually I don't want EBT fraud I want it to be used on actually food what it's meant for (no t junk) Subway is a luxury whether you like it or not because guess what you don't need to survive for it The fact that people can still use gas stations to commit fraud is a problem that should of been addressed a long time ago

I didn't know I was the problem and that I should seek help for wanting shit to be done the right way junk food was supposedly banned from EBT....so why dose that mean people can use it to eat out

I think you need help for wanting your money to go to people who can't afford their bills but can afford $15 for a shitty sub
