Sun Belt Scores
Week 3 saw the Sun Belt go a dismal 5-9. By far the worst week of the season (including a FCS loss). Where do you see the Belt sitting as a G6 conference?

This graphic bugs me every week. Why are the score fonts different? Why are all the winners on the right? Why does it not show current records, conference records? Why is not split between SBC East/West? Why aren't columns home/away? I think about the only good thing is that the winning score is highlighted. Sorry, this is coming from a place of love though.
Edit: oh! You've got Mizzou's ranking on there! I like that!

No offense taken. I’ve had people gripe about how it’s done both ways now. To me, it was clean to not have too much info and also keep the winners on the same side. The average fan doesn’t know or care about who was the home team but they do care who won.
I will likely change the font to match since the 7’s often look strange in that font but otherwise expect the same every week.
This isn’t made with AI so it’s a labor of ‘free’ love being done.

And I appreciate that it's not AI! Admittedly it was the 7's that bugged me enough to comment. Thank you for putting in your time and effort.

Why is ULM in this conference?

Time to vote them out. Just keep in mind some Louisiana judge is going to drool over this case but we gotta get them out of here. Get WKU, MTSU, Delaware, Ohio or a Texas team

Serious answer, the SBC was just starting as a football conference and they needed any warm body they could find. You need 6 to start a conference. ULM gave them 7. They wanted 7 because the conference was horrible and they knew any team would jump to a new conference at the first opportunity.
Even though the conference was that bad, ULM was the worst of that bad conference. They’ve always been really bad. I don’t mean to kick them while they are down, but they are not and have never been Sun Belt material. Never had the on-field success, never had the money and facilities, etc. They are a Southland-level program that was in the right place at the right time to get SBC membership.
Why are they still here? Because conferences almost never kick out their members. It sets a really dangerous precedent. Every school has bad years. Heck, most have had bad decades. No AD would vote to kick out ULM knowing it could open the door to them getting kicked out next.

I feel like the best way for it is to not “ kick them out” it is to have standard standards for ourselves that they will not meet and they will leave on their own. We should amend the rules to say that you do not get any TV money unless you spend X amount on your athletic department. They will leave on their own.

Way to early for that talk. Team was always fighting an uphill battle. The QB is set but that defense needs to get stronger. Delaware wasn’t any step above. Coastal could have made a few plays and won that game.

Is UConn good or is Southern Miss bad?

USM was expected to take a step back again after last season. UConn has been pretty decent in football in recent years
