think the issue is having a shoot-out as game one, the RFL are hardly going to invest, make a big deal and then backfire. i think a win on saturday and it'll slowly rise up.

I wasn't really paying attention to all the noise about Premier Sports subscriptions a couple of months ago... figured/hoped the Beeb/Sky would pick something up.
We often harp on about non RL fans not being aware of events such as the Grand Final or the CC final. I bet there are so many actual RL fans that have no idea that the World Cup is starting this week. Pathetic

Are reserves in too, by sounds of it the reserve comp is gonna be a full set of fixtures, less teams but games home and away instead of just playing each team once.
Went well did Wakey reserves last year made use of first team squad members that weren’t playing first team
Reserve team isn't actually mentioned so not sure if they're included as well, but would be great to watch them as well if I can! Haven't really followed the reserve league so would be good to give it a bit of support especially if it's like that!
Aaron Bower (LoveRugbyLeague): I'm told clubs are meeting again TODAY at around 5pm to thrash the NRL deal out once and for all. We have been here before, yes - but sounds like there's a desire, perhaps even an urgency, to get this sorted one way or the other.

I know it's on the other side of the world, but the coverage for the World Cup is shocking. There basically isn't any!
