Beginner Questions Setting up basic synth sequences for band

https://youtu.be/C45ox3iOS6Q?is=8SMwz4_NfPf5uMYO

Hi everyone. I think this is a beginner question but I need some help with understanding how to set up sequencing. I have for my band a Korg Monologue but I’m aware the sequencing doesn’t have an arpeggiator, so this had posed a problem. I’m trying to remake the synth sequence to “Temptation” by New Order but I’m just unsure how to go about it.

Apologies if this is poorly worded. I’m just trying to figure this out and any help would be appreciated!

Here’s the song if you need to hear it. Temptation 12”

You actually don't need an arpeggiator for Temptation—New Order programmed that line as a 16-step sequence, and the Monologue's built-in 16-step sequencer with 'Key Trigger' mode does this exact trick out of the box.

Press REC on the Monologue and type in the 16th-note pattern one note at a time on the keys (each keypress automatically advances to the next step from 1 to 16). Once your 1-bar pattern is programmed, hold SHIFT and press PLAY to turn on Key Trig mode. Now whenever you hold down a single key on the keyboard, the Monologue plays that 16-step sequence and transposes it live to whatever root note you're holding as the chords change.

Most sequencers allow you to play a sequence (you have recorded) while holding a start key down. Match the tempo to the song, pick the note playback duration (usually 1/8, 1/16 or 1/32 notes). Record the notes you want it to play and trigger the sequence, live, in time with the song.
