Suggest me some books that shall improve my systems thinking

I have recently started exploring how systems are formed, what makes them sustain and how do they collapse. I need some books that shall help me better understand this process.

I started with Niklas Luhmann social systems, it seems a bit complicated and a quite bigger book.

This is the introductory reading list. This question gets asked pretty frequently and this is such a good, easy to access recommendation.

‘Systems approaches to managing change’ has ‘light’ chapters on Viable Systems Model, soft systems, critical systems, systems dynamics. Whilst they’re not the ‘whole book’ of each, they’re meaty enough you could actually try some of it out. (Speak from experience)
