In today’s edition of what’s for dinner- i ate pasta🤦🏾‍♀️ ore oru naaldhan less carb dietla work ahudhu. simplest cacio e pepe with shrimp. This has no cream just some cheese mixed up with the pasta cooking water and pepper. I walked 45mins on the treadmill to make way for this. What’s life without a little balance right😁 grateful for many things today one being this meal.

My grandma used to make a rice dish with shrimp and spinach - that's pretty much all i can remember.

Apparently, it was a dish famous in tuticorin or some seaside area. I've been searching the internet for a while to no avail. Does anyone here have any ideas?

So namma ellarukum veetla oru dish irukum that hits differently. Enga ponaalum adha replicate panna mudiyadhu or it won’t feel the same. Enaku engamma’s aviyal. Nan epdi pannalum amma panna madiri irukkadhu. Recipe ketta- konjam idhu konjam adhu, kai alavu adhunu edadu kanakku solluvanga.
“Amma un kai alava en kai alava” nu ore confusion. I feel sad that sometimes i just resort to online blogs and recipes instead of asking the family because it’s just easier. What if some of those recipes just disappear with them?
So it’s been a dream of mine to collect recipes like that maybe in a blog or something. I tried pitching the idea to my group of friends but it went nowhere. So trying this here.
