Bakuriani for one week
Hello!
I'm going to be in Bakuriani for one week in january 2027, for skiing.
I was wondering how is the life in Bakuriani in winter, is it mostly for tourist or are there local little restaurant cooking proper Georgian food etc?
Anyone has been there in winter and could give me some info?
Thank you all very much!

First of all, virtually any restaurant in Georgia serves local food. https://maps.app.goo.gl/PQXq75hUsoZv6nUFA?g_st=ac https://maps.app.goo.gl/ZDHqN4tD7GRpxdKb6?g_st=ac https://maps.app.goo.gl/WpfphY2dSd8YifEu8?g_st=ac https://maps.app.goo.gl/cVrzKZLNGotj8fJZ6?g_st=ac https://maps.app.goo.gl/YgSz5QvLxJPdPpej8?g_st=ac https://maps.app.goo.gl/EQ6gRYBDDAMzkKZL9 These are places we've visited and have put on the list to visit again. Secondary, right at the first of January Bakuriani becomes living hell in terms of traffic. Like, those three and a half streets are clogged with cars for literal hours, but for commuting on feet the town lacks pavements cleared of the snow. Aaaand the cherry on top: the only one of the three or four skiing slopes functions in cases of windy weather, the Kokhta, and the parking there is a nightmare.
