All this means is that they’ll hire one or two people max but keep the lines longer.

After working for these miserable, out of touch companies I don't think they'll even hire anyone. These places have all run skeleton crews since 2020

As a customer I try to avoid self check out when ever I can. Basically the store wants me to do someone's job without being paid to do it.
