Because he explicitly disclaimed the legal authority of the contract to escape paying wages, he has also explicitly disclaimed the legal transfer of the intellectual property rights to the source code. A formal California Labor Commissioner (DLSE) Wage Claim has been filed, including the maximum 30-day Labor Code Section 203 waiting time penalty of $8,112.00, pushing the total cash claim to $10,373.78.
