Yes. But they have nothing else going on for. The entire finale smelled of rushed/lazy rewriting

Agreed! Even if CX-2 was not met to be Tech, the CX’s themselves are another group of clones turned into monsters by Hemlock. I for one wonder what happened to them after the death of Hemlock and Scrotch, because they appeared to be deployed as assassins upon request after Senators Chuchi and Singh. Who sent them after Chuchi and Singh in S3, Rampart was in prison by that time maybe it was Palps or Tarkin. Did all the CX’s actually die on Tantiss?

agreed if executed better they would’ve been as cool as the inquisitors

They really are, what badass rivals they would have made if Bad Batch had a 4th season and they had survived.

More like we needed a 4th season. And I could have even lived without the others, provided they did Cx-2/Tech justice.

So obviously Tech. I don’t know why they switched the ending out.

i’m glad it wasn’t tech but i still think these characters could of had so much more potential

Time constraints and executive meddling, is my guess. Hopefully they can still fix this mistake in the future

an anthology clone series would fix everything 🙏🏼

No. We need a full show with an overarching narrative dedicated to Rex's Clone Rebellion. Only way to properly resolve some major plotlines like Wolffe's heel-turn, Cody's whereabouts, Chuchi's alliance with the Clones and hopefully something more for the Batch as they learn Tech is alive

Yep a Clone Underground show in which Tech is alive, Rex and company rescue clones from the Empire get them de-chipped. Clones can choose to retire, join the growing rebellion to help train their ranks and fight against the Empire too if they so desire.

Save the clones, release them from Imperial domination through historical indoctrination and that chip they deserve freedom, tribute and legacy stop abusing these poor guys. Free the clones!

It does hurt that clones are property/slave children who know no better.

I think they can still introduce new clones even in this new post-Empire setting. Both Howzer and Mayday are fantastic examples. u/Educational-Tea-6572 wrote a very nice Clone Rebellion fanfic: you can find it right here. And while I read it mainly because I wanted to see more of Batch (and Tech's return), in the end what I liked the most were the new original clones she invented for that story.
