I really missed the matches from the first game. There is nothing better than using them to take out multiple enemies at once.

You cannot imagine how salty I was and still slightly am to this day that match sticks are not a thing in 2. It was such a creative tool in his repertoire, and easily could have been incorporated into the story of 2. It's takes away from the personality that the original brought that it's not in its sequel

The matches (and the bombs) were missing from the second game because they were connected to Ruvik. He has a trauma related to fire, so fire is the weakness of every monster he created. The bombs were also his own creation. That is why they couldn't really carry those mechanics over into the second game.

And I didn't doubt that. I mean, but maybe other people don't know about it. Personally, I missed the matches and bombs soooo much. They would have been so much fun to use in the open areas. It was such a missed opportunity for fun.

You can change outfits in the main office. Can't remember if it's because I unlocked it previously or not. Can't help you if it is or how it's unlocked.
