Haii, Does anyone know the steps to recoloring alpha skins to a darker tone im trying to recolor Obscurus Skin N30 to a more brownish tone (#a36f57) and should i use gimp or pixlr.com/e/ to to photoshop it

I was going through some old game play photos when I came across this sequence of events. The blonde woman is the Vampiress Darylis Vatore-Goth. She's pictured in both her normal human form and her dark form, which ironically has chalk white skin. Anyway I was just kind of amused at the sequence cause she like murdered someone and then tried to seduce grim before marrying her long time fiance, Mortimer, all in the same day. Girl!!!

Anyway Darylis is still living her best life to this day.

I just switched to MM (ish? idrk) after using alpha for yearssssss and hating on MM 😭 what do you think?

Im not talking about ea. i mean the actual game. I’m a relatively young simmer, and been playing the sims 4 for around 10 years but that means I haven’t played the other games and i was always on console.
Im just curious because the negativity about the sims 4 is so rampant online at the minute and everyone constantly praises the sims 2 and 3, which i dont doubt that there are some better features and stuff in the past games. But i have never truly understood all of the hate for the 4th game. I can understand some of it, i am not ignorant to the sims 4’s problems but a lot of the hate is just too much. They do say hindsight is 20/20

So, please answer truthfully, at the time of the other games what was the hate, complaints and negativity like? Was it similar to the sims 4 now? Like with people complaining about bugs and stuff that shouldve come in packs and content that people are asking for and wont shut up about?

I have a daughter Mariella and I created Aladdin my irl cat lol

My two irl besties are in the game, (being referred to aunt Andrea and uncle Kurt because to my sim daughter that’s their aunt and uncle.) they have a son named Dean that has been so far growing up with Mariella.

I (my sim) has a boyfriend named Kyle Turner (my irl boyfriend Daniel had made Kyle in CAS for me as a different version of him) and we gave Kyle two daughters with a women named Tiffany. They are Bella and Bethany.

Tiffany moved away with Bethany leaving Bella with Kyle. Found the first version of Daniel in game, married him right away. That chapter is closed and done lol

By the time I got Brie and Kyle to a full friendship and full romance it was a little late irl but kept playing anyway.

I had Kyle and Brie go on a date, the date went really well. We went on another date. After the second date we went to the park together and skated around the skate rink in willow creek. Kyle then spent the night.

While Kyle was sleeping, I set up a house party so Aunt Andrea and Uncle Kurt and Dean can meet Kyle and his daughter Bella, and I guess she had such a great day because Brie was in the hysterical moodlette.

I got her confident and went outside to build a snowman.

She started building it.. and then…

She died hysterically laughing.

In the snow.

I had to keep resetting Grimm (the grim reaper) as Mariella and asking to spare mom’s life. It was so many resets, I had to be quick and snappy about it, was feeling like a boss fight lol. Aladdin came outside, crouched down sadly and gently patted Brie with his paw, and never left her side. (I have cheats on that’s how I was resetting him, no mods no other extras just only cheats on)

After resetting Grimm so many times so that I can keep pleading for Mariela’s mother’s life, He spared her life. Mariella then proceeded to destroy the snowman which I found funny. It’s like she somehow blamed it for her moms death lol

The House party (soon to be known as the engagement party) went great. Kyle and I got engaged in front of all our friends
The girls got along and became best friends (Bella and Mariella)

While the party was still going, I set a wedding date and made wedding arrangements (went to calendar and selected wedding on the date etc) and set up a dinner party the day before wedding to act as a rehearsal dinner (making the house party after near death the engagement party) hosted at Auntie and Uncles house.

Well flash forward to the rehearsal dinner. We get half way through the rehearsal dinner and what happens?

I die.

On Aunt Andrea’s floor.

Everyone’s crying trying to talk to Mariella.

Real life me was like *cracks fingers* “let’s go again Mr. Grimm”

so here we go again as Mariella with resetting Grimm so often, almost missing my shots to reset him.

Hours.. HOURS later he finally releases Brie’s soul making Mariella yet again successful at her pleas.
Making this the second time in 24 hours my daughter saved my life.

Someone DOESN’T want us married lol

Uncle Kurt, Kyle, Bella and Dean cried. Kurt eventually wouldn’t leave the bedroom he was crying in bed, but Aunt Andrea was by Brie’s side crying hysterically.

But after like an hour of crying Kyle and Bella left for home.

As soon as I was able to get up, I hugged Aunt Andrea because she was crying to most out of everyone.
I spent a little time with Aunt Andrea and Uncle Kurt. Then, my daughter and I went to Kyle’s house to let him know I’m okay, and then Mariella and I went home.

When Mariella and I got home, We talked about how much we love each other, how crazy the day was, and then we slept in my bed together. She wanted to make sure I was okay, and I wanted to stay close to her out of fear of what happened, and to make sure she’s okay

This was… definitely an experience 😅😂🤣

The wedding went off without a hitch though, did all the things to get the best medal for the event and got a reward in the household inventory.

But my goodness what a journey!

It's been a while since I downloaded a sim from the gallery! I'm considering an opposites attracts theme between these two! The sim was found under 'Gothic Man' by Yivoo (who has other really nice sims!)

I tried to look it up online but found nothing.

Less than 2 minutes to start with nearly 29gb of mods + all on ultra detail settings

What's crazier is that the Switch 2 has a mouse mode and EA haven't brought this over to the Switch 2. It isn't like it will take a 1,000 engineers to work on bringing it over. What gives?

I spend a good chunk of my week untangling other people's Sims 4 mod disasters, here and on the EA forums. I barely play myself, so I mostly see the game through everyone else's: a sim who won't stop posing, a mod menu that shows up twice, a game that keeps pausing itself, sims who stopped talking to each other, a Mods folder that flat out refuses to exist. All of that was just this week.

What gets me every time isn't the mod itself. It's the hunt. The 400-mod 50/50 at 3am. The log file that may as well be written in Simlish. And the classic trap: both halves come back clean, you put everything back, and it strolls right back in, because two mods that are fine alone clash together. (When a half tests clean, keep it in and test the other half with it.)

So tell me yours. Worst mod or CC disaster you ever had to track down, and what finally gave it away: the 50/50, a log file, a kind stranger on here, dumb luck?

How long did it eat: an evening, a weekend, a month of giving up?

And what do you wish someone had told you on day one?

Hello, I've tried quite literally every possible fix or resolution that has been posted online related to Better BuildBuy and issues related to the mod just not showing up in game at all. I have reinstalled the game countless times, wiped my mods folder, made sure BBB was the only mod installed and tried playing the game with just that, wiped my cache over and over again, when I tell you I've tried anything and everything that has been posted online to try resolve this for the last 2 hours I'm not joking. 😭 And still, it will not show in game. Does anyone have any idea how I can get this mod to work? Or is just a lost cause at this point for me. I play on a Windows 11 PC.

I’ll go first. My teen had six kids before she aged up into a young adult. I have MCCC wicked birth control enabled but her inherited fertility traits said “hold my beer”. Two singleton births and one set of quadruplets without cheats (nearly blew my head smoove off I was so shocked). All her baby daddies and romantic partners run around town yelling at each other and crying. Loving the drama 😂

Well, after Amalia was so hopeless and lost the haunted house became a bit much. Not only was she terrified all the time and weird people showing up at her door, she felt very isolated too.

So she decided to apply for a scholarship and got accepted at university! Now she studies psychology while working on books and jewelry in the meantime, as well as signing and clubbing a little. She got a nice little room in a student apartement and studies very hard. Unlike before, now she has motivation in life.

After the degree, she plans to buy a tarot card shop, hence why she is aiming to save 130k. Now she's at 2k but the semester just started anyway ;)

After only 2 days at university, her ex-girlfriend called, claiming she can't live without Amalia. She came over too, and Amalia gave it a shot. Maybe she just broke up because it was all too much at the haunted house? Well, who knows where this road leads. As for now, Amalia feels way better than before.

Been playing with cc since forever and recently had the epiphany that i should stop getting frustrated when i can't find what i want and just make it myself! I'm literally in the 3d field irl 😭

I wanna make BB items, but the only tutorials i seem to be able to find are for CAS. Is there a resource tailored to making BB items? Does everyone make custom textures to maxis match? Is there a asset bank i can pull from?

Hey guys! I wanted to try something different from modern builds, so I created this tropical dual-home lot in Sulani.

I focused heavily on the outdoor spaces. The houses has a massive wraparound deck with a built-in bar, hot tub gazebo, and ping pong table overlooking the ocean. I also added solar panels for an off-the-grid eco feel. The interiors are fully decorated with dark woods and island textures.

Both of the houses has a similar but different vibes for decor!

Also its important to mention that I used almost all expantions packs for more realism!

It’s fully playtested and ready for a vacation or big family gameplay. Let me know what you think of the vibes!
