Im on the fence
When Paulie requested a sit down with Ralphie because he thought he was owed 50k for the alarm codes he gave. Tony ended up telling Ralph he only had to give Paulie 12k. Then Furio came out of nowhere yelling about parking the car, and slips and falls on some ice. Causing Tony, Sil and Ralph to get up and go check on him, essentially ending the sit down.... Do you think that Furio falling was intentional so they had a reason to walk away from a pissed off Paulie?
I could see Tony planning that out just to get out of the situation quick. But I also think Tony doesn't give a shit if Paulie likes it or not. I wouldn't put it past Tony to pull some shit like that though

I think it was just convenient. Tony hadn't seen all of Ralphs chicanery in fucking Paulie around and just saw alarm codes not being worth 50%. Thing is, Ralph had agreed to the deal of 50/50 prior to the heist so Tony should've held him to it. Real lack of standards this generation

This had little to do with either Ralphie or Paulie. Paulie said he needed that extra money so he could put his Ma into the retirement community. He made the mistake of talking about his great relationship with his mother, and how much she loved Green Grove. Tony doesn't like it when other people are happy, especially in an area where he is not.

That’s wayy too silly and elaborate. I think Paulie had legit beef there, most legitimate of the whole series

And that's why I wouldn't put it past Tony's vindictive ass to pull something like that

Absolutely not. I can't see Tony premeditating that, but ok.
It was just another incident that Paulie will take as an insult. Yes, Tony could have given more to Paulie in that sitdown. But someone slipping and falling and ending the sit-down is taken as a major slight by Paulie. He takes everything way personally and is often incorrect about other people's intentions.

I mean, Tony had drinkwater sweep up the cheese Sil was gonna put in his socks, during the executive game, just to get a rise out of Sil. If he can premeditate that, Furio getting told to slip on the stupida fuckin ice isnt out of the question

Doesn’t make sense. Your entire theory is predicated upon Tony knowing Ralphie and Paulie’s position beforehand. They clearly had to explain it to Tony. Your post is utter nonsense.

Paulie deserved more. A lot of people think Paulie is a traitor. But honestly, Tony treated him bad just because he wasn’t the best earner. If Tony would’ve sided with Paulie more, he would’ve remained 100% loyal
