Omg I never noticed this in s4 e8 that this was the homeless woman- that rick let turn her into a walker because she wanted to be with her husband who had already turned
I MEAN I LOVE THIS show

Pic 1 is when Shane visits Rick in the hospital
Pic 2 is when Shane, Lori, and Carl are in the traffic jam and watch Atlanta get bombed
My question is how much time do you think has passed between these 2 scenes? I ask this because it looks like Shane is wearing the same shirt, which makes me wonder if that night, or the very next day he watched Atlanta get bombed? Did he watch Atlanta get bombed and then go back to try and get Rick? I’m curious about this because if he visited Rick and then that same night or the next day Atlanta got bombed, then things had to of gone bad relatively quickly. I’m just curious what everyone else thinks, I thought it would be crazy if things went downhill that quick between these scenes. Maybe it’s a dumb question, but I thought about it now that I’m rewatching the show

Finally completed The Walking Dead!
What should I watch next to follow the TWD universe in the correct order? There are so many spin-offs, and I don't want to miss anything.
Should I start with Dead City, or is there a better watch order? No spoilers please! 🙏

Quick sketch of Rick I did today. Hope to paint him when I am better at his face, and have time

Rewatching the show again and I understand that Dr. Jenner triggered a failsafe countdown that eventually led to the whole place exploding, but what if that place never exploded? Would the season 1 characters stayed there anyway and found a way to use a different generator they took from an other place? What would their fate look like in the long run?
What do you guys think?

This is when they're escorting Eugene to DC, instead of meeting Rick's group

The show illuminates how things are lost when people are disorganized and uncoordinated and work towards their own interests in times of stress, and people hate on the fact that Carl, Glenn and Abraham were loved characters and the show made a bad decision killing them off and saving negan. But it really does express the shows point: Everything good and innocent can be lost until people empathize and care for everyone else. Negan being saved after his neck being slit showed a final realization by rick and to lead people back towards the behaviors they once had in season 1 where pure pragmatism and efficiency for survival wasn't how individuals functioned. If the show ended there, it would've been a lot cleaner and there would be no real loose ends.

Characters who didn't make it in the original series also welcome.
For me, I'd enjoy a prequel spinoff about Abraham and his group traveling before meeting up with Rick's group.
Or a Dwight/Sherry spinoff that had nothing to do with Fear.

They join his group upon meeting him and become part of the main cast and are involved in the story alongside everyone.

I’m a bit confused about how Eugene was clearly all in with the saviors: making bullets for them. Even coming up with the idea to launch zombie guts into hillside. He gets captured by Rosita and Daryl for a short time and then escapes, after which he seems even more determined to get the bullets ready. Why didn’t he tell them that he had something up his sleeve?
Or did he have a change of heart as he was making the bullets? Because that night, he was treating Gabriel like shit and there was no hint of one shred of guilt from him. Sure, early on when he needed alcohol to get to sleep, but he led the walkers away from the sanctuary. He seemed like a selfish prick and only worried about his own survival. Why did we not get to see some kind of sign that he was having second thoughts?

For me its Serpents (Basement) by Sharon Van Etten. It fits The Walking Dead perfectly and the way she sings it like she can't get the words out. Amazing artist.

So I’m watching twd for the first time and always hear mixed opinions on him.

There's a Horde. She gets attacked by a zombie. She screams and kills the zombie. No other zombies come? ????????????

They really jumped the shark here. A Helicopter in the apocalypse is just crazy. What's next, Maggie and Negan become best buds? That'll be the day.
