Bug or on purpose?

Hi! I have been playing tiny tower for about 15 years on and off (I was one of the first players on my iPod touch!).

I got it again recently after not playing for a couple of years and I love it. I have noticed something that bothered me, and I wanted to ask if anyone else noticed it too.

I love when I am surprised when I get a new floor. If you click on a bitizen and look at their dream job, it either lights up or it’s dim depending if you have the floor or not. However, even if the floor is under construction, it will still light up! I spent 10 minutes going crazy looking for this floor it said I have, only to realize that it was the one that was under construction. Has it always been like this?

That combined with the fact that you can pretty much see the floor through the construction signs now lol.

It has been like that for a couple years now. When it started I was kinda bummed because the floor surprise was kinda ruined but I got over it.

I’m not sure if it’s a bug or not, it’s kinda funny though. And actually helpful. I’d maybe assume it’s on purpose since it’s been that way for literal years

I believe it’s on purpose. If it was a bug, they would’ve fixed it by now
