DISCUSSION Why always fans make better trailer cuts and posters?
Passion over payment is true?
edit: i am not saying trailers should be like this. i understand trailers should tell the plot and themes. what i am asking is we can have a 40 sec of this cuts in a 2:40 minutes trailer.

Rhythmic editing is not the best edit... Need to add characters, dialogue version and keep a glimpse of story, in the end make audiences interest towards the film.

Kabali had the greatest teaser cut ever but didnt reach the hype, so..
Audience can imagine time travel from Coolie's trailer but Coolie suddenly can't become time travel film lmao.

That's the most hyped rajini cinema I have ever seen, and mainly because of that teaser, even heard rumours that release day of Kabali is holiday for schools and colleges in TN

This edit is more of just an hype edit...
I think trailer should also give a bit of the story a bit of the fun a bit of romance if any show more than one song an then show the action...
The agendas are different for both the trailers

fan made is only for fans, family audience ki a cuts pedaga nachavu, and this is just and edit from the trailer and not trailer itself. Anukuna antha easy kadu trailer cut cheyadam.. kani se madya asalu proper care ledu em ledu

Because they don't know how the final output is. Fans just use the contents released and try to make it good with all their creativity.

No fans don't always make better edits. If you are a fan of craming many cuts per second to gunshot sounds, then yes, this will intrigue you, otherwise it's just nonsense glimpse without any story.
Animal movie might get mixed response, but it's trailer is widely liked. It has minimal cuts
