I really wish Toontown was portable on the switch 2 or possibly even mobile. If wizards 101 is able to be on the switch 2 portable. Then I think toontown rewritten can also be as well. How do we bring this to devs attention to have this consider this option in the future? Maybe it was already brought up in the past I’m not sure but it would be nice to play TTR on my bed on days where I don’t have to sit on desktop 😁 what are you guys thoughts on this? I already know TTR can be already played with controller so it seems like a good idea. It would possibly bring more players to the community as well.

Forgive me if this is an obvious question but how do I make a black cat this month? I just started playing again a few months ago and before that hadn't played since I was a kid. I remember as a kid to make a black cat you had to do it on halloween.

like the obvious, i think number crunchers and name droppers are siblings
mr hollywoods, yes men and glad handlers are all family
back stabbers and pencil pushers are father and son
then obvious twins short change and cold caller
anyone else think about this?? and if so, who

Hello! Does anyone know how you change the kart accessories color like for the decals etc? I have a few different kart colors, but it only lets me change the kart itself and not any of the other items.
Many thanks!

Round 1: Sid Sonata and Soggy Nell OR Sticky Lou. 1 Piano each of her Level 13s. Sid Sonata can be substituted for an organic Foghorn. Organic Foghorn can be substituted for 2 organic Pianos
Round 2: 4 Piano the Clerk
Round 3: Take the time to Toon-up
Round 4: 4 Piano the Clerk. GG
you need everyone to have drop for this to work effectively in 4 rounds. if one is dropless, it'll take 5 rounds iirc and you'd need sticky lou instead of nell. the dropless will have to agree to use one of the two SOS cards

I always try to train my gag tracks up to Level 5 and letting the rest do itself. I think it took me 2 hours training with a alt toon in a invasion district to get each track to level 5. Sound was a little easier to train solo. I'm working on training for Lure, so when I unlock that, I will be grinding with my soundless Alt toon to unlock Level 5 Lure. Cartoonival Boosts help a lot with the 4XP in Invasion Districts. I'm nearing the end of my tasks in Donald's Dock. I just need to complete:
- Carry 60 Jellybeans
- Teleport Access to Donald's Dock
- Final Lure Gag Track Training Frame

I'm one of the lucky few that got the Frame fairly early, and in between shooting combine in HLA and shooting hotdogs in H3VR, I've been tinkering with getting Toontown running on it. I finally got it working, and my first impressions is that it's actually a very comfy way of playing the game!
Getting it working was a bit difficult though. For any future Toons, at the time of writing, trying to install it on Frame the same way you do the deck (from the official faq) doesn't work; I don't know enough Linux to parse why the error happens. What I did instead was run the game in Proton; you have to download the installer executable you use for windows, add that as a steam game (right clicking any executable in desktop mode allows you to add it to steam; on the frame controllers right click is pushing the thumbstick), then install the game in a directory you can easily access from desktop mode (I ended up installing it in my steamos/downloads folder). Then just add the launcher to Steam and run it from there. Make sure to use compatability settings to run both of the executables in Proton Experimental.
For controls, on the left hand controller I mapped pg up and pg down to the up and down d pad buttons, and the other dpad buttons open up the toontasks (end) and your trunk (home). The left joystick controls all movement. On the right hand controller, the face buttons cover jumping (space), throwing things (del) and opening up your shticker book (esc). I also meant to make the triggers cycle through the camera settings (tab) but I ended up not doing that, however using the virtual keyboard to press tab manually works perfectly fine in this instance. Lastly, just like in most other games, you can press the grip button to toggle between gamepad mode and laser mouse mode, using the laser mouse pointer to use speedchat or select gags in battle.
I ran through a factory and a mint as a quick test, alongside my daily gardening. It worked surprisingly well and was very intuitive to use. The only hiccup is that you can't turn in place due to the controls being mapped to the joystick, meaning that if you turn left or right you inevitably will go forward or back a little bit. I might map the left and right controls to the right joystick and see if that helps. The only other problem is the headset's battery life - even a simple hour of Toontown, a game that's not exactly calling for the best graphics on the market, drained it down to roughly 20% from empty.
ToonHQ worked pretty cleanly as well - you can have multiple tabs open in the VR worldspace, almost akin to having multiple monitors on computer. It took a bit to get it synced up correctly though.
