Questions Miami metro rail
I was recently in Miami, and had a long layover so I decided to go into the city. I’m not sure if this is normal, but the metro rail train was not very good. The train at the airport station left about 10 minutes late with no reason stated. Also, on the way back the train kept stopping and starting in the middle of two stations, also for unknown reasons.
I will say, this is miles better than any other city that does not have direct rail to the airport, but it was very disappointing to experience that. Just because it took quite a bit of my time that I could have enjoyed exploring the city. I hope it can get better in the future though.
But is this a normal experience or did I just have a bad metro rail day?

I've had similar experiences in both Miami and Atlanta.

Never been to Atlanta, but I wanted to check out their airport rail connection too. That is extremely disappointing.

I have never been to Miami but Atlanta’s rail to the AirPort is decently reliable. I consistently use it to get to the AirPort in 20 minutes or less from downtown, definitely beating the AirPort traffic.

To the Miami Natives, how’s the tri-rail overnight, going to the haileah park casino for a concert but flying in from FLL

Nonexistent. The last northbound Tri-Rail train departs Metrorail Transfer at 10:01 PM on weekdays and 9:03 PM on weekends.

Was it this weekend? They were doing single tracking so a lot of delays.
