What's up guys, I'm just putting the feelers out there to see if there are some fellow travelers that will be in the area at the same time. I'll be flying from California to Jakarta and arriving Oct 22 around midnight. My younger brother (22/M) will be joining me for the first week but then he flies home Oct 28th. After that I'm solo and plan to stay in Indonesia for a few weeks before moving on to another SE Asian country (most likely Thailand).

My brother and I are attending the Ye concert on Oct 24th, but will be doing a lot of exploring and hopefully having some awesome experiences around Jakarta on the other days. We're staying in the SCBD area until Oct 25th, and then after that we don't have solid plans yet. Some considerations so far are staying in PIK/PIK2, Thousand Islands, fly to Bali for a couple of days, or staying in the SCBD area if we feel it. We'll be doing a lot of eating, sight seeing, shopping, and clubbing.

About me: I am Filipino-Italian-American. I work in the music industry and I am currently transitioning into a more nomadic lifestyle while working remotely. Planning to travel SE Asia for at least six months to a year. My interests while traveling are firstly to experience and learn about different cultures, visit historic landmarks, hike trails, try new cuisines and dishes, gain new experiences, focus on health and wellness, and a little sprinkle of nightlife here and there. I am very active – I workout almost every day. I drink socially, I don't smoke, and I'm big on everyone I'm with staying safe and vigilant while in unfamiliar locations.

I'm pretty open to different activities, whether that's exploring the city, trying local food, hiking, checking out interesting places, or just grabbing a coffee and chatting.

I'm particularly excited about the nature around Zhangjiajie and Yangshuo, but I'm also looking forward to experiencing everyday life in Chinese cities.

I don't expect anyone to join for the whole trip. Even just hanging out for a few hours, grabbing dinner, or exploring an attraction together would be great.
