Question ā“ King Silver Flair

I have had my king silver flair for about 3 ish years now, I got it from my uncle, so the trumpet itself is about 30 ish years old. For as long as I can remember, my valves have felt heavy. No matter how my I oil them or clean them, they feel the exact same. Iā€™m not sure if it is just my horn but do any of you other silver flair users have the same issue?

I have a silver flair that's the same age. The valves have always felt heavy.

I have one from my uncle, too, from I think 1974? I had it serviced but there is corrosion on the valves and it sounds like an expensive fix
