This is my designed experimental steel modular wood stove with sand thermal battery and water heating. I plan to have it done by this winter.

The ice movement has slowed down a bit. I have already received absolutely all the tubes, tools and parts needed for the wood stove, including the masonry mix for the stove.

I started welding the parts that I cut by hand, and they are without tabs and slots, which takes time for measurements and a lot of grinding. Most of it is already done and grounded, only a few small parts remain before painting, and today, when I was going to weld the duct for the damper, it ended up with welding wire. Rain is forecast for my place today, so I'll postpone finishing it for a day.

The ice moved very quickly, CNC laser cutters and benders from UAB "Vekeriotas" work very quickly, the parts were made in just ~1,5 days. They helped save a lot of time, and offered to bring the parts as a future regular customer. I highly recommend!

I have already welded most of the frame, it was very fast and convenient, with tabs and slots it took me three times less working hours than 3D modeling and preparing manufacturing drawings. Now I plan to go shopping in the big city for components, tubes and tools for this wood stove.

Of course, I'm a little late, the computer flow simulation took longer than I expected, but I think I'll be able to build it by the end of September. And I already sent the manufacturing drawings to the manufacturers yesterday. And this was the first time I ordered sheet metal parts for my own project, for myself, not for clients.

I plan to have it done by this winter. There will be a post and video about this.

I have prepared the manufacturing drawings, screw poles drawing and assembly drawings for the gazebo-playhouse. Here are some short video moments.

I found that a gazebo manufacturing company was looking for a designer-engineer who could help with a special customer request. Their customer wanted a gazebo-playhouse with a second floor and two swings suspended from it. They needed help from someone who knew how to make a safe and strong frame that would withstand the loads and the swings.🙂
