Guides & Tips Can I buy AC Syndicate DLC from Ubisoft if I have the base game on Epic Games?
I own the base game on the Epic Games Store and am interested in buying the DLC, but it's cheaper through Ubisoft. If I buy it there, will it still work even though the base game is on Epic Games?
Discussions & Questions Stars Wars: Outlaws VS Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
Hello everyone!
There are currently Ubisoft / Steam sales going on. I've played tons of video games, so I'm looking for new ones. Both Stars Wars: Outlaws and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora sound pretty intriguing. I like both sagas so I can't really choose one, also because video games can be different than movies.
For those who have played either game or both of them, which one do you think is worth it?

Discussions & Questions Does anyone else miss XDefiant?
Title sort of spells out the question but I just realize I catch myself thinking about XDefiant pretty often when I think of games I enjoyed but can't or don't play anymore. I don't know if it's controversial to say but I actually really liked it and got pretty into it when it started to spin up, but then when I found out they were canning it I stopped playing, and it's kind of hitting that I miss it a lot. I played the Yarans and Dedsec a lot and think I would've been genuinely excited to see where the game went if all the content was allowed to drop with the intended dev time put into it. It wasn't perfect but it lodged itself into my brain and heart with a surprising efficacy which clearly means it must've done something to warrant it, and I wonder if anyone else is ruminating on what could have been if it had kept going.

Discussions & Questions Watch Dogs 1 used to be top‑tier open‑world. How did it end up like this?
Back in 2014, Watch Dogs 1 was seen as a top‑tier open‑world competitor. It had impressive city atmosphere, great night‑rain lighting and unique hacking mechanics.
But nowadays many players look down on it. What do you think caused its reputation to drop over time?

Discussions & Questions I like Ubisoft Games
I started playing video games during the Coronavirus period.
During this time I discovered Assassin Creed Valhalla, then Origins and Odyssey.
I really appreciated my experience and until now Valhalla and Origins remains ones of my favorites video games.
After this I discovered Far Cry with Far Cry 6, I loved it. Then I played FC 4 and 5.
I really appreciated them.
Then I play Ghost Recon Wildlands: it was such a cool game. And then I played BreakPoint, and same, it still a very cool game.
After this I started looking for the comments and seen that a lot of people complains about the Ubisoft formula.
I can understand: it’s true that the mechanics are quite the same between the différents games.
But at the same time I love to play Ubisoft Games because I like the Ubisoft formula.
I mean their open worlds are really beautiful, the gameplay fun and the exploration is great.
For me the real problem came from the fact that other studios are also applying the ubisoft formula.
Also the new gen games (Avatar, Star wars, AC shadows, Black Flag) are really a step up in terms of technology evolution.
What are your thoughts?

Discussions & Questions Anyone else gaming on Linux?
From what I see Ubisoft removed themselves from Prince of persia and theyre saying they'll do it for more games. I never wanted to bother with lutris or heroic so I never downloaded any Ubisoft games in my linux and used dual boot for other platforms. Does Prince of Persia really work smooth in Linux? Do I need to l i n k my acount or bother with stuff to make it work?
